Salaam to my Uzbekistan friends. I was living in Tashkent in 1989/1990 at the Komsomol institute. Very often we were appreciating the uzbek shashlik. With lots of love from Mauritius.

A word of caution here. If you have neighbors that you have never met before or not on good terms with, this will bring them knocking and begging at your door to have some this. Just awesome!!

What’s the effect if sparkling water? Is it used to tenderize the meat? What other options can I use to tenderize the meat? Thanks
@internationalcuisines6 жыл бұрын
yes it's to tenderize the meat they are tenderizing powder you can buy also anything acidic can tenderize the meat the most powerful one is pineapple with turns the meat into a paste if you leave it long

Thank you and also there is no definite time in open fire grilling, it all dispense on size of the pieces, intensity of the fire and type of meat but usually about 5 minute when the outside is golden brown inside is medium rare

One suggestions: just use a few jump cuts instead of speed-up shots. Speed-up shots kinda ruins the whole zen/therapeutic vibe of the video. Other than that, great stuff as usual, loving the camera panning and close-up shots, will binge at 2AM with empty stomach again.
@internationalcuisines7 жыл бұрын
you got me thinking i kinda like the speed ups rather then jump cuts give me an example where the speed up didn't work and thank you for the comment

Like on 1:26 when you chop the onion. Actually, doing a shot of you beginning chopping the onion and quickly blending into another shot of you finishing chopping might be better. Just an idea haha, I'm no film maker :D

i actually like this conversation if i may tell you about my understanding of it is: The human mind work lot faster then the real life that's why time laps are enjoyable, so things that are considered a chore ( chopping onions) i like to have them as time laps. now human emotion need time to sink in that is when slow mo comes in handy there is a channel called "Every Frame of Painting" i really think you should check it out
