As much as i respect vedic culture and history, i find these teachings impractical. There's a reason these techings have become extinct. I would love for this man come to the arena and show his skills against a real fighter.
@leonpse5 жыл бұрын
The gun replaced these teachings and the western martial arts too, everything is sports. The real arena is anyone against a gun.

The similarities in concepts to Kosho Ryu kempo are amazing This is the only other art I've seen with this level of knowledge and understanding They both speak the same language Probably because they both study natural laws and principals And have a very advanced knowledge of movement and motion Knowledge way beyond what's found in 90% of arts today And not even touched on by sports fighters

I was wondering what useful applications this could have in mma. What exactly is it that im looking at and how would this be effective
@samuraisteve27755 жыл бұрын
Not touched by sport fighters for a reason: they actually go against people who fight back. None of this would work well against a real fighter, which is why you do not see any in the background there to Learn. Real fighters with real experience that use efficient, effective training methods would shake their heads and walk away laughing.

Right. That's what i thought. I am embarking on my mma hobby, and i have chosen to focus on yoga, bjj, judo and boxing (no kicking)... however i desperately want to pepper in some sikh martial arts to honor my heritage... but i can't find anything remotely applicable/relevant. Any tips/suggestions would be very much appreciated
@kaikwonfu26334 жыл бұрын
@@barthalomeowthegreat8470 You wont find it... Why? Because the martial arts that work survive the ones that dont die off. This martial art died off. This is someone playing like he knows something but really his art died because it didnt work and no one has used the real things in centuries because the masters are dead. Only thing left of that time is manuals if that.

The best part was when he did single stick vs 3 opponents with sticks and then the “participant” doing a downward 6 count with (training) blades and the participant stops his 6 count so this guy can just walk up to him and counter. I am not saying the man does not have anything of value, but most people will have a lot of trouble pulling this stuff off against a resisting opponent. Be careful.

@sudhirmudholkar43265 жыл бұрын
Sardar literally means 'Leader' and it also means spiritual teacher or Guru. Sanatan means that which has no beginning and no end, so it is not time bound, or beyond time or eternal.
