After Howdy’s re-debut, the lyrics hit different: “Die for me brother” - Bray saying to Bo to honor his name, show devotion to his older brother’s cause and legacy “Love one another” - despite being bad guys, Bray always preached love between his brothers. He never betrayed the trust of his peers and always wanted them to thrive “Lie for me brother” - if you must lie to conquer your enemies, then do it. If you must assume a new persona to instill fear in other’s hearts, the do it (Bray saying to Bo to leave his past self behind and embrace Howdy) “Use me for cover” - if you need to use my name for your cause, then use it. It's because Code Orange are an actual band. Not saying that the in house composers at WWE aren't legitimate musicians or anything, but it always hits different when they bring in outside artists like this because if this song wasn't used for Bray, they could have just as easily used it on one of their albums (which they probably are as well).
