I've been using Tamiya Extra Thin Plastic Cement to fix my tiles and it seems to work great.

Sorry this happened. If you aren't really picky on the size of the tiles, I made my own lava and snow tiles out of extra grass, rock, sand tiles from my collection. A couple of cans of red and white krylon acrylic and some brush on gray worked out ok for me.

That's a really good idea.

For how horrible and how sorry you had to deal with all of that. But, this was oddly satisfying to watch.

Yeah, we had no idea how the video would be perceived. It's not really a how to, more of a chill ASMR thing. Probably won't get the most views in the world, but hopefully it will find its way to people that enjoy that sort of thing.

@@hexhalla my rule of thumb on content is to do what you want to do. That’s what makes it fun! As long as it’s fun then the audience will like it.

Baking soda+super glue is your friend in these situations. With that extra reinforcement you wont have to worry about the strength of the glued joint. And dont forget, my offer still stands. 🙂

We're getting a lot of great ideas on how to repair tiles, what exactly does the baking soda do for the process? Also we are very appreciative of your offer, and might take you up on it one day, for now we really appreciate you showing up and participating in the conversation in our videos.

@@hexhalla It provides a ton of extra strength to the bonded cracks. The glued cracks will become stronger than the rest of the tile. If you want to try it out, flip over one of the repaired tiles and sprinkle a line of baking soda over the crack, then drip some superglue over the top of the baking soda saturating it. It'll dry very VERY fast. And you're done. You've now reinforced that area and don't need to worry about that crack re-breaking. Here's a video that might give you some idea of just how strong it can be: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f56vcqCcgsR0naM and here is another one from the same creator that more closely shows some examples similar to the tile repair (crack repair on plastic): kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppuYY5WYgtNgjrM

We are so sorry to hear that. Hopefully with Renegade planning on re-releasing old terrain we will all have lava,ice and shadow soon.

Please look into industrial CA Glue with spray activator - it can be adjusted until you spray the activator, then it cures instantly!

Yeah that does sound like a better experience. We've gotten a few good ideas from this video, looking forward to trying them out. Well maybe not with broken Heroscape tiles.

just won an ebay bid shipping from the other side of america lol. one solution I see is surrounding these with land pieces and then gluing to be assured they will connect
@hexhalla5 ай бұрын
Congratulations on your Heroscape purchase! I think that creating some sort of jig, to ensure the connecting of pieces is really smart.

Did they end up slotting into other pieces okay?

The next map we are actively filming we are using the repaired tiles. There was one that does not fit, but the others are playable.
