@@DrIncompetent Some tips and tricks!: Food - When you are full, you slowly regenerate health so it's technically in your best interest to let yourself be hungry and starve until you need to heal/ are low health! Keep this in mind to ration your food! Identifying items - When you wear armour, use a weapon, ring, artifact, etc, the quicker your character can identify them. You could also use scrolls of identify, stones of intuition, or wells of knowledge that can occasionally spawn in your runs. It's best to use as many scrolls and potions early on so you figure out what everything is. Floor events - If you encounter an obstacle, such as a room with magical fire, a wooden barricade, or a room with toxic gas, there will ALWAYS be a potion that can help you on that same floor. I.e, a Room of toxic gas means that one of the potions on that same floor is a purification one. Curses - If you put on a cursed item, it should tell you what the curse is in the item description so make sure to read it! It will help you better prepare during enemy encounters! Other than these things, have fun, read things thoroughly, interact with EVERYTHING you can, and keep dying to learn! 😁 I still haven't beat the game myself so I'm no expert, but these are just things that've helped me!
