Suck is too strong but Kansas City is not winning because of Patrick Mahomes. They are winning because of that defense. Mahomes is having moments, yes but if that defense wasn't Top 10 (tied for 2nd fewest TDs allowed) they would not be 6-0. Mahomes is putting the mail in the coffin but the defense is building the damned thing and holding the nail in place for him. It basically goes Andy Reid > The Defense > Mahomes. And that's cool. We know Mahomes is better than this and so when he gets it together (maybe it's the receivers) we will really fly but Mahomes is just a guy right now.
