No worries, it happened to me too the first time I saw snarky puppy. When you're listening to great musicians you want capture their perfomance, it's natural, but at some point you just want to put down the phone and really absorb it to make yours. I guarantee to you, you will remember better the following part that was even better than the one you recorded. Because emotions make memory ;) Gratz on seeing em live :D

This channel was one of the _last_ places I'd expect to see a Snarky Puppy upload from. I was drawn to your channel bc of your volca keys polyphony beat step pro drum gate video, among your other volca vids. I will watch this Shaun Martin video as I have my early morning breakfast here in Canada, and I guarantee that I will enjoy this solo! Thanks for sharing, cheers!

Darwin Yeah I wouldn’t normally but thought too good not to share. Not a band I’d listen to at home but amazing live. You can see what he’s doing too! Lesson for everyone.

@@dg1llard , indeed! He's absolutely singing on those keys. His playing here reminds me of Chick Corea in the Return to Forever band. Playing that takes you someplace else. A solo on the keys makes the most sense to upload to your channel, out of all the musicians in Snarky. Though, I managed to see a solo from one of their -drummers- percussionists, Andre Ferrari. Not a Snarky show, but a sister band Bokante instead. That man was spell binding and a wizard. All can appreciate :) Edit: confused percussion for drums ...though Snarky Puppy drummer Larnell Lewis is an absolute hometown hero for us in Toronto. His performance for the "Zildjian Live" series is beastly (found on this site). IIRC, the keys are featured on a solo there as well!
