Did you see Coach Stephen Francis interview where he said a lot of time athletes don't appreciate injury management until they leave his team. I can understand losers changing teams, but once there is no cheating or harassment why would champions be moving around. Francis hadbeven said in the past that speed wasnt Elaine Thompson issue, it was injury management.

Well, they are technically free agents , so they can't force them to do anything. As you said, it's an amateur sport. They treat athletes like amateurs so the athletes perform on their own terms or their coaches' terms. I don't blame Syndey or any of the rest. They're not going to get any bigger by doing multiple events, especially as women. Now Noah and Fred can bc they are males and popular already. ❤

Only time she had real competition , she lost (2019) Nasser being suspended Mboma banned from 400 Made it easy to win the second Olympics and world title She’s great but lucked out with the real competition being in the hurdles or not allowed to compete

I have to disagree because even though Shaunae lost to Naser in the 2019 Champs their head to head was in Shaunae's favour, she was also dominating the 200m from late 2017 to 2019. She's exceptionally talented but I think the championship scheduling has deterred her from fully exploiting her talent
