I am a Kannadiga and Hindi was my second language in school. In 2009 I toured Rajasthan and Gujarat for three months. I picked up books by Faiz, Iqbal, Bachchan Sr, Kaifi Azmi etc. Later back in Bangalore I started reading these books. After a month or so.... as I was reading 'kar chale hum fida jaan-o-tan sathiyo' by Kaifi Azmi poem.... without my conscious knowledge tears rolled down... That was a joyous moment.
