Hey, John. I really like the SE. I am a sucker for Open Comb razors. I think you will really like it. I shave with all kinds of razors, but I use the SE every Saturday. It is one razor that has its own day of the week, Supply SE Saturday.

Hey there, great review. Somehow this Razor design seems heavily inspired the the Gillette guard open comb cart razor developed and sold in India. Pretty mild and efficient.

Can’t shaving against the grain cause ingrowns? Curious?

I don't think so. It is multi-blade razors that pull the hair up and cut it below the skin that causes ingrowns. After shaving with the grain, I do against the grain. Some like to do a cross the grain pass between wtg and atg. My beard doesn't need three passes. After my against the grain, I have a couple of spots that I do accross the grain to finish. I have had no issues with ingrown hairs.
