This is so cute. I had to go back and watch this series because I’m making a LGB, but I’m making mine into a Travelers notebook style. I love the look of the buttons. I think I will stitch through them and glue them on. 😊

I use pliers also to pull my needle due to arthritis issues and loss of hand strength - really hate feeling weak. We have to do what works for us and journal making has enlivened my creativity at 71 yrs young Lol. Love this little book and would love to see the finished project. Thanks for sharing.

Girlfriend, I do it the same way! I use the pliers..I also pull though a couple pages at a time..Only way it works for me lol..Beautiful work!! xxMegsxx

I would use those pages for pictures and then collage or washi in some journal paper to write about the pictures!

Leslie Speers I saw another video can't remember who but they folded the pages back by the center and taped them down with washi.I keep thinking there has to be a way to make the cover slightly wider but haven't seen any videos about it.

Sometimes, you can trim off the edges but you may lose parts of the image. I also saw Paula Foerder recently do a video where she didn't fold the pages... go check her out

Yes, that's correct. I just simply folded over the edges and then you can decorate them if you'd like!

I think I got the buttons from hobby lobby. The needle came from Walmart, just look for doll making needles in the sewing section
