Thank you darlin'. Yes, she will always be here. Some nights I think I see her (out of the corner of my eye) trying to get on the bed with me, and then I look down and realize she's not really there. But her memories are strong here

It's never easy to send our fur babies ahead of us. We don't want our babies to suffer, but to watch them take their last breath is heart breaking. I'm so glad you had many wonderful moments with her. Peace in your heart

Oh, I am so sorry to hear about Gracie. So sad when we lose our furbabies. I have had my heart broken many times losing them. It hurts so bad. I love how fast you made a cute journal out of a pharmacy bag! Since I am technologically challenged, I cannot figure out how to share, but someone will enjoy!! You know what else? Your pharmacy bags are prettier than mine! The ones I get are white with their name, phone #, etc!!! Oh, one thing that helped me when I had a sweet dog put down years ago was that poem about the Rainbow Bridge. It said that doing that (when they are suffering) was the last bit of love you could give them. Heartbreaking, but true. ❤❤

Thank you so much Rachel. It's so hard to lose them, but it's so lonely without them so I always eventually get another one and start the process all over again. Pets are so special. It's okay about the share part, darlin'. I used to get the plain white bags with writing too, but since Mom went on hospice, they use a different pharmacy and this new pharmacy has the pretty bags ... small perk, right?! lol Oh, yes ... I just read that poem the other day. It's the sweetest thing. It definitely helped

I love this project! I'm so sorry you lost Gracie. It's always so hard but God gives us the strength to get through it. I had a loss today too. I was in the Dollar Tree and someone stole my wallet out of my purse. It's a mess to straighten out but I know God will help me and give me strength. Pray for me and I'll pray for you at this very hard time.🙏

Thank you for sharing this with us, such lovely work... Also thank you for sharing your pain and emotions with us, it's not easy to do what you had to do. Sending prayers and hugs to you.. And just know their is no time limit or time frame to ones healing and crying. so it's okay to cry but just remember do it and move on from that moment (space) . This way it will get a little better.. blessings..

I am so sorry about Gracie! I still really miss my little dog we lost 2 days before Halloween to bladder cancer. I look at his pictures every day and often dream about him which helps. We lost our 16 year old kitty just before Easter. After we finish home renovations in a few weeks, we decided to look for another little dog. The house is too empty without a dog. I love the cute journal! Thank you for the giveaway. Also I made a memory journal about my dog, it helped me to heal. Take care.
