I was thinking that a calling card like the stamp is way too obvious and Sean should immediately assume it was a frame job (iv seen the ep. before), but then the flashback and the plausible conclusion that he wanted to get caught overwrites the frame job idea. basically, the writing in Psych is really amazing, and why I love it, despite not watching any other crime shows.
