Even Stan Lee said, that he gave Spiderman a full mask at a time where hiding a superhero's face wasnt a common thing, and he did that because he wanted to give the idea that ANYONE can be Spiderman. I feel like at this point, Peter's story has been so done to death and not for nothing because its a great story, but its been so done to death and writers are so afraid to deviate from it and give Peter something fresh that I almost prefer Miles as a character. Like Spiderverse's Peter is one of the best versions for me because a) he gets to chill in the supoorting role and be a mentor and b) they dared to make him an older guy with a family and all the challenges that entails. They took us outside the Peter (dis)comfort zone.

Miles was important but people in this sub downplaying Peter is insane . Most of the time Pete was doing like 4 things at the same time sometimes succeeding sometimes not so much . The game was very biased towards miles and dude barely got shown struggling at all 😂

Idk why this Spiderman debate is so controversial, miles was Spiderman in his universe cuz Peter died... In the insomniac verse, peter didn't die nor did he stop being Spiderman, why can't miles have his own spider related name? Arachnid, Static Spider, etc etc... The Black Panther comes from one family of people, who are all destined to adopt the mantle. Spiderman is literally a random dude. Its completely different things. The whole point of Spiderman is that he could be anybody and has been multiple people. Its only when he's black that people suddenly take umbrage.
