Probably the best I have ever heard anyone else capture Shawn's vibrato technique. However, still had to resort to two-handed tapping to come close to the speed Shawn used at the end of this song. Not knocking the rendition, just pointing out Shawn's speed is impossible to replicate.

I think Shawns speed is the least attractive part of his playing. It gets very un-musical at times.

I agree. But at other times it is very climactic. I like the fast parts om Temperal analogues of paradise.

I agree, sometimes he gets in what I like to call "Marty Mcfly" syndrome, and it loses flavor, but I have seen him many many many times live where he is just incredible, Shawn is no doubt one of the most unique players to ever watch, and his personality , kindness, gentleness , humbleness was what we should all aspire too..RIP Shawn

The best and most faithful interpretation of "Get Your Back"... in 3:55 I got to know what was what looked like a small arpeggio of two notes made by Shawn Lane and that prepares the wonderful beginning of his improvisation to the end... I always came back to that part, such is the beauty of that two-note detail that makes the transition from one part to another... S. Lane is brilliant! Congratulations 👏👏👏!
