As much as Shawn is largely seen as a shredder, his phrasing and compositions are incredibly emotive and personal to me. I can sense his music from a mile away and I'm never bored from hearing it. This is great... if I can pick up one tenth of what he taught here... yeah!

Can you imagine being able to play at "Shawn Lane" level when you were a 16 year old kid? I was struggling with Kirk Hammett solos then.
