Before I heard of Shawn Lane I thought I was the greatest guitar player ever followed by maybe EVH, Malmsteen, Vai, and Danny Gatton. Boy was I wrong! I have to give it up to Shawn for humbling me a bit and showing me that there IS somebody that can do lick for lick with me. I always tell these young guitar players to do their best to be themselves 'cause they'll never be me or Shawn.
