My mother who does not really listen to this type of music, heard this song on the radio. I came home from Job corps one weekend. She goes "there is a song that reminds me of you so much" i asked her what and she pulls up this song. I suffer from serve anxiety and depression. When i actually paid attention the lyrics i cried. My mom goes "You never give up. Even if you been beaten down to the point you do not want to be on this earth anymore. But you are not alone. You have alot of people that cares about. It played again two nights ago, almost two years later, when I was on stage at regionals receiving an award for a placement in Irish dance, one of the highest moments in my life. This song made that moment even more special, because it showed me how far I'd come and how much I'd improved. I keep relapsing from anorexia. I'm trying to fight it, but it gets difficult. I've attempted a few times, but it was like I blacked out everytime that moment happened. Turns out, I have DID, and I always ignored my alters. Treated them as consciences, and convinced myself they weren't real. Ezekiel, my alter would front whenever I got to my breaking point, and Raven, another alter, would help me stay alive since no one else would. I still suffer from anorexic relapses, but Ezekiel will now front for me, so that I don't try to starve ourself. They're slowly helping me gain my confidence, and a month ago, I entered a local talent show for pianist, music-creation, and ventriloquism. I had spent a year on it, and felt convinced I'd be a coward and drop out. However, I didn't. I got second place, and it was honestly so astounding to me that I somehow got out there.

For me it's social anxiety and general anxiety towards things. Bad experiences with people especially during high school has scarred me. I've learnt the ugly side of humanity where they tease and bully. There's also a good side to humanity and I've seen that all my life and that's a beautiful thing to see. Through my anxiety and fears, reconnecting to Allah (God) has helped me so much. Getting closer to Allah has made me realise what this life is all about. Why some humans are just so cold inside and why they bully. It makes me full of happiness and hope when I prostate to my Lord. It is something truly beautiful and the act of submission to my Lord and no one else strengthens me and i realise that this life is just a test and whatever hardship I go through I ask Allah to make it easier for me. That's just my little story and I hope it benefits someone out there. Stay safe everyone and I hope you are doing well.

Nothing to do with being tough. Depression can be caused by things that happened during someones childhood. Things not everyone can understand or relate to. I went to a Shawn Mendes concert last year back in July 2019. This was the last song he performed, & it was literally breath taking. I miss him so much.
