Shawn Mendes Reveals It's Not 'Always That Harmonious' With Girlfriend Camila Cabello

Shawn Mendes joined Boogie and Arlene via Zoom from girlfriend Camila Cabello's house and admitted that it wasn't ALWAYS that harmonious being in lockdown with the 'Havana' singer.
Revealing that the couple have a really honest communication, he said, "I don't think this is just me, I think this is a man thing, where we sometimes stop listening..."

Love this interview!! I adore both Shawn & Camila, they are such a beautiful couple inside & out. It's so rare we get to see a glimpse of their private life, so I am grateful he is sharing more in these interviews. Congrats on Wonder, it's an amazing song & I've been listening to it daily on repeat! But even more importantly, proud of the person Shawn has grown into over the past year. He seemed to be kind of egocentric and too dependent of others' opinions in the past, and now he appears to be so self-assured, open & loving in the most positive way. I feel this is in large part due to Camila's influence - her kindness, love and support. It's great he feels safe to be open without fearing judgement from the outside. Love to both of them! Can't wait for the documentary & album!

Yeah but these are the only interviews that they have a chance to talk about the relationship. All of the interviews especially the radio ones he talks about the music and the journaling so much. And there’s nothing more he can really say about an album that hasn’t come out yet. We’re gonna learn more after and as time goes by.

Ils ont parlé du temps qu’il a passé avec Camila et sa famille et que Camila est meilleure que lui pour cuisiner. Il dit qu’il aime passed du temps de qualité avec la famille. Il as dit que c’est la première fois qu’il restait à la maison/en pause pendant 7 mois parce que avant il tournait dans plein de places et il n’avait pas vraiment de repos. Il a aussi dit que “wonder” est un message qu’il voulait dire pendent un temps et qu’il avait peur d’en parlé au début de peur qu’il allait s’exprimer mal à ce sujet. Il as dit “beaucoup de délivrance est venu à moi durant cette période” Ils lui ont demandé comment Camila et lui font pour vivre ensemble et ciment ça ce passe. Shawn a dit qu’ils sont ouvert et honnête ensemble et qu’ils ont une bonne communication mais que des fois, quand Camila lui parle, il commence à penser à d’autre chose et il a dit qu’il doit travailler sur ça parce que des fois il arrête d’écouter et il tombe dans la lune. Il as dit que c’est peut être juste un truc d’homme de d’être parfois dans la lune quand quelqu’un leur parle. Ils ont parler du fais que Shawn et Camila et pas pu vraiment cuisiner, faire la lessive, laver la vaisselle dans leur vies et que maintenant la apprennent même si que ce best pas les meilleures tâches à faire et Shawn a dit que ce qu’il voulait dire, est le fait qu’il a passer du temps en famille qu’il jouait et non le fais de faire des taches comme la lessive et la vaisselle. Ils ont aussi parlé de l’album et que maintenant il sera plus ouvert qu’avant, qu’il n’as plus vraiment de “filtre” et qu’il n’as plus peur comparé à avant. Vers la fin, petite séquence drôle, la dame qui l’interviewait lui a demandé de l’appeler senorita mais il a dis que c’est juste une personne qui ll peut appeler senorita et cette personne est Camila. Haha. Après ils on parler de son album qui sort le 4 décembre. C’est tout ce que je peut résumer pour l’instant.
