Bmarsh Your looking too much into what i said. My statement regarding their similarites are mearly based on both fighters being a boxer/puncher, which they are. Porter's legacy has yet to be determined. Don't allow Haglar's 'greatness' to deter you away from how 'great' Porter can become. This is a new era of boxing. Regardless if you have favortism towards a certain era, fighters with 'similiar' styles will always been compared to fighters of yesteryear.

Although their styles can be viewed similar in some aspects, shawn porter wants to be the 1st shawn porter not marvin haglar version 2.0. With that being said, lets see if Porter has all the intangables to beat Thurman. I think we both can agree that Porter has fought the better opposition thus far in their careers, respectfully.
