I had the incredible fortune of meeting Shawn before one of his acapella shows in London, May 2017. The same day in fact that Chris Cornell died. I Bought him a beer and asked him to play one of his lesser known songs... "If you could make it good" from Discovery Park. He chuckled and said he couldn't remember how to play it. Such a down to earth humble guy. I was terribly sad on the day he died.

Lollapalooza 96 San Jose with Metallica, Soundgarden, Devo, Ramones, Rancid, etc I was most excited to see Satchel on the side stage. Which wasn't even a stage. Going through a listening binge right now.
