Thanks, Shawn! both SRV & JC were amazing in this incredible blues classic... I call this "interplay".. great collaboration... appreciate your reaction! (oh, yeah the amazing Reese Wynans on keys)

The reason they were laughing at the end and SRV shaking his finger was because Johnny forgot the words, and he improvised by playing a solo.

The best rendition of this old classic Blues song.

In The Beginning is a great recording from “ the magic of radio “ it is very raw and in your face. It’s so old that Ray wasn’t yet used in his stage name and there was a different bass player

Everytime i watch this its like the 1st time. Stevie was lit and murdered his guitar. Johnny did his thang even though he 4got the words 😂. Stevie and Healy doing " look @ little sister" is on fire too!🔥🔥🔥🔥♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Ps srv and johnny did did 3 songs from this concert. All are on 🔥 Johnny's arm killed me dead!😂

Yeah, Johnny had that weird kickoff with his right elbow. 🤣 But the very next song they performed was "Look at Little Sister" and that's THE BEST VERSION available on KZbin!! Wow!! I wish more reactors would choose that one!!

such a awesome talent, in a class of his own just like Jeff Beck, Steve Val, Hendrix, Slash B.B. King and all the other great guitar players.

Another top notch performance and reaction! For more Stevie I suggest Riveria Paradise, live from Austin City Limits. It is a jazzy instrumental masterpiece and our wedding song back in 1992. Peace.

Dude, you are on fire lately!!! I believe the song was on Stevie's, Couldn't Stand The Weather album. I'm not sure about that though. BTW, that's a great song to react to, (the title track). Not sure if there's any good video of that song, but the studio is fire enough for me. ✌

Yea man, here SRV is honoring an older bluesman, he did that a few times. Mr. Copeland RIP, was a fellow Texan (born in Louisiana).

The story, along with the brilliance of Stevie on his start and playing with one of his blues idols, is truly unique. No doubt one of my favorite SRV songs. People who are fans of the blues or hate the blues can't deny the talent Stevie and Johnny possessed. It's so natural and in your face. Great commentary and review Shawn. We appreciate your hard work and amazing videos - Thank You.

I'll gladly take anyone's suggestion on a better, tougher and meaner blues duet than this performance!??
@shirleybuffington642011 ай бұрын
You should check out his guitar sound check where he is wearing a leopard print coat and when you do just remember it is a sound check not a concert he plays 3 songs at the sound check and they are Scuttle Button, say what and Ain’t gonna give up on love

You could break all of stevie's fingers and it would still sound better than most musicians even with modern technology. The man wasn't human

I thought I'd suggest another song by SRV, if interested. "Don't Lie To Me - Albert King with Stevie Ray Vaughan" (by the channel: Swain Paramour) This is beautiful stuff, bro. (👂🍬ear candy)

The next song was them playing "Look at Little Sister" and I'm surprised that stage survived!! It was off the hook!!!

The reason they was laughing at the end is because Johnny was supposed to sing the last verse of the song and he forgot the words

Its always interesting when a low view channel shows up on my feed... I enjoyed your reaction though, young man. Keep looking for shit like this.. this is a gem... Especially seeing Stevie play a soap bar equipped strat. That guitar would be worth insane dough nowadays...its as rare as hens teeth. cheers!

I wish ya would have continued recording 'outside the box' and stretched your reaction time. Stevie was just about to step up to the mic and inform the audience that "this ones for Jimi", kicking off another one of his killer versions of #Voodoo Chile". Would have not been disappointed.
