I remember, the first time I listened to FELT. It was early 2019. I was just a year over, returning to the world of anime and Japanese culture. The first song from FELT I heard, was Hailstorm, with Maika as the vocalist. It was unforgettable. FELT songs, since March that year, had kept me company, be it through the bus rides, traffics, or just me, dashing through the crowd, like an ultra-dramatic James Bond, just so that I can catch that bus before I miss class. I was *invincible* that entire year. FELT was the witness. When I heard FELT would disband, I remember crying for an entire night, until I fell asleep because I cried too hard and was too drunk to stay. I publicly commented to Maika, Vivian, and Nagi-Hoshi, thanking them for the music, the best years of my life, and their witnesses of it. Maika was even gracious enough to reply to me in English. By God, did their disbandment broke me, and it was last year that they uploaded the last of their songs (before the December release) on YT. It was during the hardest year for all, too... This song just does it differently. It was so bittersweet, every time I listen to the song, it has to be a private place, or my bedroom, especially because of how emotional I get. I'm gonna miss FELT more than I could imagine... And I already kind of am... Maika-san and Vivian-san is on Twitter, and they will reply to fans, so if anything, please say hi to them.

A bittersweet end to an era; so much so that it's hard not to tear up. But I think a lot of us can appreciate the music of FELT that much more now. 10+ years of uplifting, moving, or peaceful songs that we all enjoyed one way or another. I wish all the best for the members of FELT going forward.
