I did this for my first website. I absolutely loved doing it... the graphics took sometime to load though as they were on my header. I think they work much better as a print! So beautifully designed! Love you lady!! Inspiring as usual.

Love your beautiful work. So inspirational. Please could you tell me which printer you use? My hp printer just won’t print pale, pastel colours. It’s quite new but not fit for purpose and so would love a recommendation. Thank you 🌿

This was fantastic! Thank you so much Shayda! When I scan and print at home my paintings look really off, nothing like the original. Can you help? We have a good home office hp printer and have tried various dpi settings 🤔

maia4t I’m not sure what your exact issue may be, but make sure when you’re scanning into photoshop that it’s not making any automatic color corrections. Also make sure you’re working in the CMYK color space! Hope this helps. Printing is always gonna be a little hard to figure out!😅

Shayda, I can't begin to tell you what an inspiration you are to me! I am SO pleased that I happened across your KZbin Channel. I am going to spend a week in the southern region of the East Coast (U.S.) soon. I am planning on taking my watercolors, brushes and paper with me! I have watched your tutorials for countless hours, but have never been able to carve out time to "give it a whirl!"...so wish me luck. I am a photographer and work in PS for my editing. I am SUPER excited that you include tutorials with your watercolor videos that show me how to utilize the paintings into printable graphics. You are the best KZbin girlfriend I have ever had!! ;) (would love to meet you in person one day!)

Thank you so much for this tutorial! It’s exactly what I needed. I do have one question - do you think it would be more beneficial to move this over to in design if you’re working with a print shop? Thanks!

Hey Shayda :) thank you for this amazing tutorial. What settings did you use to print your invitation? in my settings I indicated heavy, rough texture paper and still the colors come out weird. Like the printer just doesn't put enough ink on there. thank you so much in advance for any tip you might have:)

Thank you so much! Your tutorial made it easy to understand. I have been very confused about this process because I want to sell clipart and your video is saving me : ). May I ask you if I want to save this for print it later or for uploading for selling, should I save them with the "RGB" or "CMYK" color mode? Thank you so much again.
@ShaydaCampbell5 жыл бұрын
That's great! RGB vs. CMYK is a complex subject and I'm not sure I can give you the best answer (so you many want to post your questions on Quora or an adobe forum). Here's what I know. RGB (red/green/blue) is the color model that cameras and computers (digital machines) use to make all the colors we see, CMYK (cyan/magenta/yellow/black) is what printers use to make all colors. You probably know that, I'm just restating for anyone else reading :) Anywho...it depends what you're final product will be. If you're making web graphics, use RGB, if you're making a print invite or card, use CMYK. And here's what I know is important, use the same color model for both portions of this project. If you want to make your invite in CMYK mode, make sure to use CMYK when you are creating your graphics. Anyone else with knowledge on this topic, please add to the comment thread! Thx

What kind of printer do you have? I love the idea of printing on watercolor paper, but I know I would need a printer that I could ‘feed’ the paper in flat. Thank you!
@ShaydaCampbell5 жыл бұрын
I just have an HP Envy (it's a cheap model from Staples, good for printing everyday kind of docs) and for this I used 90lb watercolor paper and it went right through, no problem. So just find light watercolor paper and you'll be fine, it'll be cheaper, and you don't need the super heavy stuff because you're not actually painting on it and getting it wet :)
