I added color as my preference. The tips for drawing the maple leaf and the fern leaf made the drawing much easier. I was having difficulty with both and I am well pleased with both. Thanks.

So beautiful with the messy water color. I love it so much!!! Learning a lot from your youtube. Everyday I watch your videos multiple times and that is how I am able to learn to sketch, to doodle, to paint brush pens and even lettering. I came across your video on felting. So interesting, never heard of felting before! I hope I can make one for myself too! That will be a major accomplishment for me hahaha. Off topic: Have you had a go atdoing watercolours with dip pen, I would like to see some flower tutorials using that medium too. I have just ordered a dip pen for drawing from Amazon and I just want to see what easy, beginner friendly projects there are. I quite like the thick and thin aspect of the dip pen, but not sure if it will just be a drippy mess when I do it. It is funny how you watch Shayda videos and they inspire you to do other watercolouresque things too.

I like maple leaves, though I'm not sure about drawing them. Your drawing looks simple, but I won't know until I actually draw it. By the way, don't know what kind of weather you're facing there, but here in Alberta, the phrase is 'winter is coming' and the 's' word has been mentioned. Edit I did try to draw a leaf months ago. Not sure it was a maple leaf. What I remember is trying to draw all the raggedy edges accurately to match the picture I used.

Another off topic idea: Can you one day do a video on doing an autumn/doodley/botanicals etc on using designer metallic GOLD gouache watercolours. I have just got a tube and it would be fun to learn simple, interesting but professional looking techniques, well, for a beginner to do
