When Singapore was struggling post WWII. They claimed multi-racial, multi-religious society. And Muslim worked alongside Non-Muslims to help build the nation. Once every thing is build up. They step on the Muslims as if the nation was not part of them. And just give some face, so as not to make the Muslim neighbouring nations angry. Glad tidings to UK if the Muslims can grow the country further and be successful. Fortunate for Singapore is adjacent to two huge Muslim nations that can bring barakah to the country and muslims that try hard to follow the sunnah, though the Global North will find ways to downtrodden them all.
