Abu Dhar said, "I was with the Prophet (SAW) one day and I heard him saing: "There is something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal." It was then that I became afraid, so I said: " Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?" He (SAW) said; "Misguided and astray scholars." Recorded in Musnad Imam Ahmad (no.21,334 and no.21,335). Sheikh Shu'ayb al Arna'ut graded it sahih li ghayri (authentic due to corroborating narrations) in his tahqiq of the Musnad (1999 ed., 35:21,296-97). Al Tirmidhi (no.2229) and others record the following hadith: إنما أخاف على أمتي الأئمة المضلين And Allah knows best.

Today the fitna of Wahabism, Khawarijism is coming out of Riyadh Najd and killing Muslims and harming Islam all around. Everyone have Ijmah on this Hadith that a group will rise from Najd… Now where is this Najd?? Sahih Hadith # 1-a Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 88, Number 212: Narrated Salim’s father: The Prophet stood up beside the pulpit (and pointed with his finger towards the East) and said, “Afflictions are there! Afflictions are there, from where the side of the head of Satan comes out,” or said, “…the side of the sun..”.. Sahih Hadith # 1-B Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 88, Number 213: Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: I heard Allah’s Apostle while he was facing the East, saying, “Verily! Sa’ld in his narration said. Sahih Hadith # 2 Bukhari Book 17 Hadith 147 Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: (The Prophet) said, “O Allah! Bless our Sham and our Yemen.” People said, “Our Najd as well.” The Prophet again said, “O Allah! Bless our Sham and Yemen.” They said again, “Our Najd as well.” On that the Prophet said, “There will appear earthquakes and afflictions, and from there will come out the side of the head of Satan.” Comment and analysis of Above Sahih hadith It is very clear from Above that Najd (today saudi ,wahabi capital ) was never blessed but was only cursed. Sahih Hadith # 3 Bukhari Book61 Hadith 578 Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, “There will appear some people among you whose prayer will make you look down upon yours, and whose fasting will make you look down upon yours, but they will recite the Qur’an which will not exceed their throats (they will not act on it) and they will go out of Islam as an arrow goes out through the game whereupon the archer would examine the arrowhead but see nothing, and look at the unfeathered arrow but see nothing, and look at the arrow feathers but see nothing, and finally he suspects to find something in the lower part of the arrow.” Hadith # 4 Malik Book 15 Hadith 15.4.10 Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn al-Harith at-Taymi from Abu Salama ibn Abd ar Rahman that Abu Said said that he had heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, “A group of people will appear among you whose prayer, fasting and deeds will make you think little of your own prayer, fasting and deeds. They will recite the Qur’an, but it wil not get past their throats, and they will pass through the deen like an arrow passes through game. Hadith # 5 Bukhari Book 55 Hadith 558 Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas: The Prophet said, “I have been made victorious with As-Saba (i.e. an easterly wind) and the people of ‘Ad were destroyed by Ad-Dabur (i.e. a westerly wind).” Narrated Abu Said: Ali sent a piece of gold to the Prophet who distributed it among four persons: Al-Aqra’ bin Habis Al-Hanzali from the tribe of Mujashi, ‘Uyaina bin Badr Al-Fazari, Zaid At-Ta’i who belonged to (the tribe of) Bani Nahban, and ‘Alqama bin Ulatha Al-’Amir who belonged to (the tribe of) Bani Kilab. So the Quraish and the Ansar became angry and said, “He (i.e. the Prophet, ) gives the chief of Najd and does not give us.” The Prophet said, “I give them) so as to attract their hearts (to Islam).” Then a man with sunken eyes, prominent checks, a raised forehead, a thick beard and a shaven head, came (in front of the Prophet ) and said, “Be afraid of Allah, O Muhammad!” The Prophet ‘ said “Who would obey Allah if I disobeyed Him? (Is it fair that) Allah has trusted all the people of the earth to me while, you do not trust me?” Somebody who, I think was Khalid bin Al-Walid, requested the Prophet to let him chop that man’s head off, but he prevented him. When the man left, the Prophet said, “Among the off-spring of this man will be some who will recite the Qur’an but the Qur’an will not reach beyond their throats (i.e. they will recite like parrots and will not understand it nor act on it), and they will renegade from the religion as an arrow goes through the game’s body. They will kill the Muslims but will not disturb the idolaters. If I should live up to their time’ I will kill them as the people of ‘Ad were killed (i.e. I will kill all of them).”

Your right that many sufi “orders” have deviated and “sufism” itself is not the heart of Islam but REAL Tasawwuf is nothing but inner knowledge, to get urself as close to Allah swt as close as possible - true Tasawwuf was practiced by Muhammad saw and all the companions - because all it is in its TRUEST form is purifying the soul (Tazkiyah), forms of asceticism (without total seclusion like some monk lol) and reaching Ihsan from Muhammad to Ibn Abbas to Ghazali are REAL forms of Tassawwuf - even both Hanbal and Taymiyyah PRAISED the ones of following true Tasawwuf ….. not the forms we see these days of bid’ah - Tasawwuf is nothing but FOLLOWING THE SHARIAH, SALAH, Swam, hajj, but also much dhikr - and again inner knowledge in truly finding your deep faults and discipling yourself I agree with you on many points - especially with the OP saying “sufism is the real Islam” when that is a fallacious statement - but many many Muslims practice Tasawwuf in trying to worry about the akhira over the dunya daily and that is NOT “bidah” So both you and original poster are wrong- its not a black and white issue - while I agree many of these sufi “orders” have gone toooo far PS. Who are Wahabis may I ask? If he's referring to Imam Abdul Wahab, then I beg to differ. Never in the teachings of Imam Abdul Wahab have I seen ANY incitations of violence nor have I seen anywhere that one should be terrorizing innocent people. The Problem of the Sufis is the same problem the Kufar and Munafiq of then Saudi Arabia had, and that is, Imam Abdul Wahab denounced the worshipping of graves and denounced the innovation of new practices which did not conform to that of the Noble Prophet SWS. There's no place in Islam for extremism and terrorism or any other "ism". May Allah SWT Grant all deviant sufis the light of Quraan and Sunnah and bring them all back to true Islam...Ameen.

Bismillah in deed, in the Sheykh Abdul Wahab´s books are a lot of mistakes in tafsir, because he quotes ayats and ahadith wich refers to the infidels and quote it refered to muslims, it is ignorance about the reason of revelation of the ayats. But is true, the radicalization of violence of wahabi against sunis and shi´a muslims is a topic of the disciples of ibn Abdul Wahab. Any person understand the din as Allah -swt- allows this person can understand, only Allah can judge the faith of a muslim or if a person is a muslim, unfortunately, the wahabi sect do not understand it, and believe as blind their din is better than 14 centuries of islamic belief according Qur´an and suna, is a radicalization of a mediocre bok, "Kitab Aat Tawheed", bad wroten, bad understanded, May Allah preserve the pure hearths of young people of the influence of mistakes of wahabi sect. May Allah put the true in the hearths weaked by illness of hate, and open de hearths of every muslims to acceptance of brothers, because the Prophet said: "the muslim is brother of the muslim", when a muslim attacks other muslim in reason of practices or belief, the agressor is in a mayor mistake, is incursing in shirk, because only Allah -swt- is The Judge in faith issues. May Allah allows the brotherhod between any muslims, and put sincerity in hearths, Ameen.
