I can deeply relate to the struggles of living overseas and working in a culture different from what I'm used to. Seeing Bhutanese people paving their own way in the world makes me so proud. This talk was incredibly inspiring and I found myself crying during the discussion as it was so emotional. The trauma most Bhutanese face outside is profound. I can hope and aspire that every Bhutanese who endures it can heal and start anew in this brief life. Our strong genes of resilience inherited from our parents who withstood many civil wars and invasions in our small landlocked Himalayan country is a true blessing. We will cry but never fall back.
