What I understood was that a warrior of light is summoned from each star that had rejoined with the source. 7 calamities so 7 warriors.

I keep seeing people think it's other shards of you. Isn't it more likely that the spell just summons random heroes?

ARR set up a lot of really good storylines in the long run but by itself it was a mediocre-at-best storyline inundated with fairly boring and tedious quests. It's really cool to look back at the story beats and how everything has evolved and how small easily missed details become big parts of the larger picture but it was a damn slog at the time and I think most people are looking back on it with massive nostalgia blinders.

Bro, normal mode for raids are literally story mode. Savage and ultimate raids are hardcore. Noone cares about normal mode after the beat it once. The are not content.
