My daughter had a storage unit for a couple years and unfortunately she lost it because she didn't have money to pay for it. She lost all of her kids baby stuff she had saved. But thank God the person that bought it looked through her photo album and he knew my daughters grandfather and saw pictures of him so ge found her on Facebook and returned all her photos albums GREAT GUY

We had a storage unit for about 4 months before we moved. The day after we emptied it the man on reception said he had never known anyone ever hand their keys in because once you have a unit it's for life. NOT FOR US... BUT I LOVE WATCHING YOU.

I used to have a storage unit long ago when it was married to my first husband and he was in the military and we were in small apartments but when I divorced him I had a storage unit and had it stolen so I vowed never to have one again if I couldn't put it out I didn't keep it and that's my philosophy to this day

This is so sad....it looks like the life of an elderly widow who has to be put in long term care, so the children moved all her treasures to a storage unit and then passed away. Her children never claimed her things eventually. Sad...

A few years ago we moved from west central Ontario to western Newfoundland (job). We put most of belonging into storage and my oldest and her partner rented our house. A couple of years in we decided to stay and sold the house in Ontario. Since we were close to retirement and liked were we're renting we stayed put. We have retired since but staying put until grandkids start showing up (kids spread across central and western Canada). So for now we still have that storage unit.

I just emptied my storage unit after 10 years bc I just retired from doing live in-home health care. I kept up my payments and the original owners never went up on my rent.. then they sold it. The new owners went up on the rent 5x in 2 years!! I’m so glad I retired from medical work. Spent over $5000 in that ten years then got rid of half of it when I moved into my own place! SMH 🤦🏼

Just some advice. Check every envelope, card, old bill. My mom had put 100$ in an envelope for the power company, lost track of it and when she had to move I went through all her stuff and years later found the 2 fifty dollar bills. I also found two birthday cards I sent her with 10.00 in them. Pays to check. Glad to see yas back!!😎

She either were working with orphans or with seniors. When she retired they gave her goodbye gifts. Or possibly, she was alone and gifted herself gifts ( that may explain why those gifts weren't open because she knew what inside them). Definitely she seems have lived alone, and she didn't have high budget to buy valuable things. Most of the stuffs were old. The newer stuffs seem 90s. Getting old isn't easy, so she must or maybe taken to senior housing. Someone was asked to package all her stuffs. She paid the storage fee until the obvious end. I think this woman lived tough life and wasn't happy most of her life. I felt sorry for her.

Wade this is not the video on TV right now. You and your mother are at the storesge unit 5 min from your house the unit that has mostly Personal and Mom's bills * the mom of the people who have the unit. Your Mom is in the Directors chair . You also say things can be seen on your moms sight at Postmark, but we don't know your moms name. She is the show she is absolutely great . It would be so much fun hanging out with her. You should book a cruise and reserve some extra rooms for people wanting to hang out with your mom. I am a 71 year old female,( Straight like heterosexual. ) will always be . But your mom is so much fun .
