I started fending for myself at the age of 16. I didn't have anyone to ask for a phone from cos they were even expecting the phone from us...that isn't how it was supposed to be...but it is what it is. I remember one day I had had enough and questioned my mom why a little boy like me would be facing that kind of suffering...all she said was that it is going to be well. I couldn't complain much cos I knew if she had the means, she would've taken good care of me and my siblings Today I sit in my car with my mom and we take beautiful selfies...I didn't have to come post her on social media and brand her as an irresponsible parent. Look, I'm neither a parent nor a guardian but I'm living life and I know how frustrating it is when u are trying to come up with something and thru all ur efforts, it's get difficult to achieve what u really want. The parents may be trying to gather some money further her education so I think the least they expected from their child is to ask for an iPhone in the middle of a situation where they are finding ways and means to further ur education.
