Hey Sergi!!!! Thank you for this!! It's Brad Roy from Winnipeg. I asked about the price on Sunday's drive stream and here you go. Perfect;)))). The cost for this apartment per square meter is almost exactly the same as here. In fact everything including the buildings and surroundings is very similar to here. As well,,,,Winnipeg's second largest group in our population is of Slavic descent myself included as my fathers side came from what is now Kaliningrad and my mother's side came from Poland. Father's came after the first world war and my mother's in the middle of the second world war. I plan to come and visit to see and learn more about who I am and where I come from as soon as this insanity ends we are all suffering through. Russia will save this world as the prophets have said. I truly believe this. As Bismark once said,,,,many armies have made the mistake of entering Russia,,,none have come back out. Crazy eh;))).

I appreciate, that you're helping your wife's sister family and I'm sure you're helping them more, than you say in the video, I'm sure of it. Thank you for being a man, that is what it is to be a man! Comparing prices with here in Sofia - I live in about 80 sq.m. ap. that has a market value of 150-160 000 eur. Prices in St. Peter seems to be about 30% higher, if my calculations are about correct. However, I'm not exactly near the center, it's 4-5 kms away from ideal center, so maybe location-wise prices are probably even more than 1/3 higher in St. Peter. But that's normal. There is no other city like St. Peter in the world, not hard for me to admit it :) (greetings from Ilia) Wish your family and Aida's family all the best!

In Russia are people respectful towards one another in apartments? In America I live in a house I bought for $10,000 12 yrs ago in murder central where I just heard another 4 people shot Saturday night and it didn't even bother me but I would NEVER live in another apartment. The last time was hell. The noise and selfish people that don't care if your kids can sleep. Its been a long time since but I know people are no better now. Shootings only last seconds but at least I don't have noisy neighbors stomping an my ceiling all night.
@oscarpetersson5324

Usually, yes. People in Russia mostly live in apartments, so it's not associated with being "poor" or "disadvantaged". But, as always, it depends on the area. In luxury apartments in Moscow you can expect police being called on you if you are too loud after 11pm. But in some 60-year-old apartment in a "bad area", like the outskirts of some small poor town, it might be more noisy. Still not that dangerous though. Generally, since it's an "owned" apartments and not rented, people care about their reputation amongst neighbors. And you usually have a group chat of your complex, where they can easily identify and shame someone, if necessary 😅 The biggest annoyance of new apartments is infinite construction/finishing work. Some people buy apartments today, but than take like 1-2 years to fully finish it on the inside. It's still regulated with a 10am-11pm time frame (I might be off by an hour here), so you will get your sleep, but I gotta admit, the first year of new apartments is noisy and inconvenient. One more detail: noise levels depend on the quality of the building. I've rented an apartment back in the day, where I could hear my neighbors loudly talking (not even shouting). By my latest couple of apartments were so good, I didn't even care about construction going on directly to the side of my room.

The balcony into a playground square with no cars and traffic is one of the best things. I like very much the fact that it is very modern. She will still have to spend maybe 40.000-50.000 more dollars to make it a home, plumbing, electricity cabling, kitchen, we are talking about 180.000-190.000 dollars. For one bedroom apartment I consider it very expensive, but the real estate market in Russia is extremely, extremely expensive. Even in remote areas of Russia, a 40 m2 old Soviet Apartment from the Stalin times can cost 40.000 dollars, where in Estonia, Latvia you can find them for 3000. (three thousand)

@@baklykovlive I really don't think so. In Russia the kitchen appliances are as expensive or more than in Europe. Medium fridge 500. Oven 300 Hot Plate 400 Washing machine 500 Diswasher 400 Microwave 150 that is over 2000 only the appliances. Then the kitchen furniture, very expensive because there is a lot of custom work, add 3000 more, that is just the furniture, 5000, then you need to do the plumbing of the kitchen, 1000 more. then the heating / radiators plumbing around the house, that is 3000 more. Then I don't know if it is central heating or individual. If it is individual, you need a boiler, that is 1000 euros at least etc etc etc

10k to finish (work + materials). Kitchens are expensive only if you order individual high class kitchen. You can buy just a modest one for cheap. Anyway, you no need adding a price of furniture to the price of apartment. You would need to buy a furniture anyway. For any apartment.
