Usually like these but, this one was tough to watch for me. An extra $30 would’ve meant a lot to that little girl and her grandma and would’ve meant only a nominal decrease to your estimated margins. After the $5 handheld lot deal I figured you’d try to make up in some small way but you just kept hammering. Legit dealing with a little girl and a grandma who haven’t a clue what they own. That’s an uninformed seller being taken advantage of, straight up.

I loved how the screen cut when he found that psp in the legos b4 he paid I bet there was not a word said about it! It’s one thing if someone is asking/telling you their price but when you make up the price yourself knowing the value that is another thing. You could tell these fine folks didn’t have a lot of money and he could have paid them well and made a huge difference in their day/week but like you said the greed just kept coming! I’ve been doing this for 45yrs and I’ve never named a price on something that was this out of line. I’ve seen another video “newer” where he was told $50 for two 3DS xl’s and ended up giving the kids a $100 instead so maybe he’s getting a little better? Time will tell.. I do jewelry & vintage toys and I had a lady a month ago bring some jewelry out and when I told her I could pay her $850 she said can I go $10 lol 😂 I said no $850.00 she about fell out of her chair and after all said and done I made about 40% b4 fees etc. So I’m saying you have to pay 90% of value but jeez at least 30-40% when you’re the one naming the price!

Dude I'm all for getting a bargain but $5 that's really low. I feel embarrassed for you. You complain about Thayne offering stupid amounts but taking advantage of someone who genuinely knows little about these items is pretty disgusting, especially two grown men and having a camera stuffed in their faces talk about pressure tactics. Then you have the cheek to go back to your car and get all excited about the 'deal' you just made. A great impression you are giving the young people who watch your channel.
