Proud of you Sis. Keep going. Business is usually very tough in the beginning and might be on the verge of collapsing but with persistence and innovativeness, you will not only survive but thrive. The Gambia needs more manufacturing companies. You've identified some of the reasons for your challenges, one of which is marketing. I and many other Gambians never knew Facil exists. Do more marketing. All shall be well.

Jammeh used to compete against Gambians. I remember him even spoiling the poultry business of a Gambian businessman. Not only that he allowed the Lebanese like Muhamed Bassi to control the food supply. Terrible person. People like Muhammed Jah and TAF would not have expanded their businesses under Jammeh.

Gano, I know you have been doing it all this while but this time you've surpassed doing it. YOU'VE DONE IT! I knew this lady very well, she was a former student and headgirl/prefect of St. Peter's high school in Lamin before doing her sixth form at Gambia High School. She knew me as well and she'll be surprise if she know my true identity. Well done Eli, really proud of your initiative and achievement in The Gambia. You've always been an achiever and a very ambitious one indeed. Just be more innovative and constantly review your business strategy for prudence and sustainability. That's all I can say for now. I'll come to see you when I'm in The Gambia.

I am indeed very happy and proud of Ms Gomez as a Gambian, yes your insistence to produce high quality products is fine but having to import almost all your production inputs you will be needing calls for a rethink on your cost of production. To needfully capture a bigger Market share within the region and thus a higher and more sustainable annual turnover. Wishing you all the best

To assist with marketing if she sends some of her products to either social media influencer or celebrity in her Country. Let them try the products give their feedback, it could make a whole difference. Workers need to do better, wherever you're working take pride in the work regardless of whether the boss is around. In order to succeed quality and consistency is key.

I hope she find someone who can invest on her bussiness. Our problem is that people who has the money don’t help much and at the same time they don’t know how to preserve the money for the next generation. The best thing rich people in Gambia can do is invest on the new bussiness so we can all win. Invest invest invest! That’s what makes a country run so our money don’t go elsewhere. She said all her materials comes from outside, it’s time we produce our own. I can’t believe there is no industrial place to even by a proper thread.

Sister I really understand the situation and the heart you have to help see that a product like this is made in Gambia and also to create job to your people. The only truth is that many Gambians are not ready to learn work mostly ladies . If that you use the money you take to build this factory maybe use half of the money to open a club in Gambia, then you will see masses of girls and boys even older ones coming to the club, because that is what they know well and they depend on their brother or sister in Europe or America to send money to them every month. Well I will advice you to look for other Africans who are willing to work and also take your product to other Africa country make friends there do your enquiry do look for marketers to other countries like Nigeria, Ghana Senegal, Liberia, and others that I couldn't mention, make sure you focus and reach to their market , just do the sacrifice I know is not easy, but is only to make a move and you see how God will perfect everything, you can even relocate your company to other Africa country of your choice to do your business, because many people in Gambia don't know what you bring to them. This my advice is only if you really mean to establish something like this . May God continue to bless you as you love your people like this but the problem is that they don't understand and don't want to understand because they believe in their brothers and sisters in Europe and America to send money to eat and enjoy without knowing what they are passing through in Europe and America . You know people back home think that is easy to make money out the country , they don't know that you eat ones a day sometime you will not sleep for one week no rest even to have small time for yourself, just to make sure you send them money to eat sometimes you send everything to them but still they don't know about that ,. May God help us.
