@ 6:20 El Paso is a big deal because it sits right on the other side of the river from Juarez Mexico and is a major port of entry for the drug trade. So basically, a place like El Paso is like the Big Leagues for a DEA agent.

I believe Skyler wanted to strike at Walt's pride, of his ownership of his family, him saying he "did it all for them" is bullshit in her eyes, and the fact he would use them as an excuse to lie, betray, break the law and destroy his legacy as a father and teacher just cuts her too deep. She is trapped, she cant go to the police, or expose him, or even get him to move out and give her space- so she does the only real option left to hurt him and his pride, to destroy his "reason and excuse" for his shitty behaviour is to sleep with Ted, knowing that it would injure walt in a way that he has been hurting her.

Skyler wants to separate and Walt is making it very difficult.He involved her in the drug business without her knowledge, and now he's trying to force her to become complicit. He already has to an extent. I believe "I f*'d Ted" was intended to drive him away, not to hurt him or get even.

Yeah I dont think Skyler needed Ted at all, I think she did it specifically to piss Walter off, and send the clear message that if she is obligated to live with him, he still very much doesnt 'have' her any more
