Well, you had me with the forged car loan episodes, but this one was a bridge too far for anybody to believe. These kinds of situations are why COURTS and LAWYERS handle them in real life. Without a court order, no police officer would just show up at your house and be allowed to enter your property to retrieve "items" someone claims belongs to them. Lastly, nobody in their right mind would've ever divulged anything about finding a random "wad of money" in that bag, let alone waving it around for the police to see it.
