John farnham is one of the best male singers of all time on this planet. Hope he gets well again soon and back on stage where he belongs. He should have been more notised world wide. He was still an amazing singer and performer at the age of 70yo.

Two very swoon worthy songs of his are Burn For You and Touch of Paradise. Then there is Gethsemane, from the last night of Jesus Christ Superstar in 1992. His version is the first time the pain, despair and resignation that Jesus experienced was expressed so perfectly. John's vocals are flawless and the emotion is gut wrenching.

PLEASE check out his WHISPERING JACK album he has many many awesome songs on that album freedom, when the war is over, burn for you, the voice touch of paradise the list goes on... he is our treasure here in Australia and how he never was just as big in the USA and overseas absolutely amazes me. Another couple of singers to listen to are Tina Arena, and Jimmy Barnes both awesome also.

I appreciate all reactions to John Farnham. I am grateful for all of them. There is no wrong version. Some people just don't know grateful. It's like you washed up but the other person says that's good but you didn't do it very well. So next time you don't wash up. You mow the lawn but somebody says yeah but you should have mowed it shorter. What is wrong with people? Don't we appreciate anything anymore. Don't we say thank you anymore.
