I got a feeling that hyun su is the key to bring back humanity, the daughter and hyun su had the same ability of seeing the persons past when they touch a monster or person, there are like ying yang, the daughter can convert human to monster, and maybe hyun su will be the one who can bring them back. When you remember the episode when hyunsu got tested on a lab and they let him fight a monster when hyun su touches the monster, it suddenly regain its consciousness and memories.

She don't wanna her child to go and meet humans cuz she was afraid if they would know, they will goona do experiment on her. but she chose wrong method. If she would explain the situation to her child and trying to talk in a good way. Maybe she would alive now. For her child, I never ever goona say her that she is bad. What can you expect when you have not emotions since you are born and now people are blaming that why you have not emotions ?(just example) this goes for the child. But if the she truely understand her appa which she call hyun soo, he never wanted noona to die like this. However, dude she has no human feelings, what can you expect!? But turning her mom into moster is not the solution. I hope in season 3, she would be a gift as her mom wanted not a curse . If not her mom lived with her, She will never able to understand humans!! The Child needs a good guidance who can understand and teach her. So, we are not blaming anyone. We are trying to understand both of them. Cuz sometimes, if someone is not good doesn't mean that they are bad.

I know right I don't think it's that kid fault. For her monsters are not bad and Hyun su didn't wanted her to die so by her understanding she made her mother monster. I don't think she is at fault. As for Yi Kyung I think she should have choosen one side her going forth and back was wrong. You cannot be on humans and monsters side at the same time. If she wanted to protect humans she should have killed that baby or left her and never look towards her again. Or if she decided to be there for her monster baby she should have treated her like her child. It was very obvious she can't protect both humans and her monster daughter.

See, here the daughter is not the evil or nor she is wrong. She was hurt obviously that her mother couldnot accept the fact that the daughter is a born monster and even tried to kill her. But she was living with it. But turning her mother into a monster was according to the situation. If she had not turned the mother into a monster at that moment, her mother would have died. So she basically saved her mother from death.

And season 2 is setting up everything for next season which is more like season 2b rather than season 3. The only concept they will be adapting from webtoon, other than the general premise, is the concept of evolution which was not shown in season 1 but we got a very little glimpse of it in season 2. Hopefully season 3 will resolve everything

As a webtoon/manhwa reader of sweet home. The directors had changed so much of the story and did no justice to other characters. Just for example to that old man character he actually died in the manhwa/webtoon heroically but he just died because of his illness. They're also trying to make Eun-yoo and Hyun-soo as lovers wherein the real lover of Hyun-soo in manhwa/webtoon is Ji-soo, she's the reason why there's "Sweet Home". Its because of her untitled song and Hyun-soo was the one who gave a title of it before Hyun-soo gave in to his monster to save everyone he gave the title "Sweet Home" for that untitled song of Ji-soo. Ji-soo is also the reason Hyun-soo remembers his old memories again when he became a human again after being a monster again. I'm kinda disappointed but I'm hoping they won't lose the meaning of the series why its titled "Sweet Home".
