Zeppelins were always intended to be filled with Helium. Hindenburg was filled with Hydrogen because the US (at the time the major producer of Helium) limited sales to Germany. A bit of trivia - although Hindenburg's burning is often attributed to that Hydrogen fill it was actually caused by the chemicals used to treat the outside of the skin, which were extremely flammable in the right circumstances (such as trying to land in high-static weather. The Hydrogen did burn as it escaped but the majority of the fire was the skin of the Zeppelin combusting because of the chemical treatment.

You can land a zeppelin to board it. They were used as civilian transports originally until they were rolled into service for WW1. However, launching a grenade into one it a good way to make the whole thing a bonfire which is why nobody uses them anymore. That was the joke when they said they have zeppelins as an advantage, you use those things in modern warfare and you're pretty much asking to lose it. That and the Hindenburg disaster where the zeppelin caught fight and 36 people died. Most of the 60 odd survivors had extreme burns which kind of killed any commercial use for them for a luxury cruise. Also, dying in a fire is, well, terrifying. The footage on how fast that thing went up is chilling to say the least.

@@kirbysuniverse . Maybe in the future every atom of our bodies can be transformed into nano-machines held together by our consciousness. Our minds would be the glue holding our nano-machines in perfect human form. And then we would have the power to keep moving between the internet and the nano-machine bodies. We could still do everything biological bodies do too but the electronic version of that. People would give birth to natural born robots with electronic DNA.

@@kirbysuniverse It would be really cool to become a cyborg with a healing factor like Deadpool. But all the cyborg technology is on the inside of your body so you still look completely human and whatever part of you gets injured just pulls itself back together. Or if you lost an arm you could just eat a lot and the nano-machines would transform that food into more biological material for growing a new arm.
