Yazz never took accountability for her actions in the marriage falling apart. To be honest i think tom played unfairly with the email however that girl went for a job without telling in a different country. She acts like she was so innocent but girl you kissed someone considered cheating on Tom and werent held up with accountability enough for two seconds. I swear Yazz needs to go.

She ALWAYS took tom for granted. He was always there for her even though she couldn't be bothered to return the favor. he put her on a pedestal and in return she would look down her nose spit in his face. She blamed him for her own problems never taking ANY responsibility for her own actions even going as far as to justify herself as to why she shouldnt have to. she was ONLY ever nice to him when things were going her way and she was getting what she wanted. while what tom did was horrid. I think this is a perfect example of nice guys finishing last.

I saw this coming from the beginning I figured their marriage was unfortunately done after it was revealed she couldn't have children and was wanting to take more job opportunities in journalism. Hollyoaks at their best with breaking marriages up. And don't get started on James and Ste because they will be lucky to still be married after everything is done. And I feel like Darren and Nancy are about to have problems because of Frankie being traumatized and dealing with the twins mom as well. I wouldn't be surprised if Yaz is next to leave the village and they bring in a new long lost relative for Darren or Tony because they are the two besides the McQueens that are getting bigger. James's family is getting smaller with him being the last of the original Nightingale family.

@@ChelseyLinden I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Yaz ends up leaving the village because if she's divorced from Tom and she does expect that offer from Canada then she's leaving..because with Dillon being in the village now and the focus is more on the teenagers now there's nothing left for Yaz in the village. At this point Tom always seems like a stand in character now I haven't really seen any storylines for him and that's sad

I've never thought they were right for each other. I've always believed that Yazz saw Tom as a security blanket or a safety net. When she and Tom got together, she was going through a lot such as her hearing loss, the attack from that group Ste was involved with, up and down relationship with her brother Imran, watching Shaq and Sami go through their turmoil, etc. There was a lot of drama and I think Yazz saw Tom as a reliable, dependable source. She loved him but was never in love with him. When she felt more settled because of Tom, she started acting like herself again and then realized that Tom was not right for her. She saw Tom as somewhat boring and too predictable which is how she easily fell for an online make-believe person, who was Tom trying to be more exciting for her. If anything, I blame her for misleading Tom who actually fell in love with her and now she wants out of the relationship.

Before you read this I need to say Yaz is my least favourite character Yes Yaz can be annoying but the way the Hollyoaks viewers have infantilised Tom is even more annoying. For some reason the crap he does is her fault. He tried to convince her to adopt after she was told she couldn’t have children anymore, promised that he’ll take her to a romantic holiday and then goes back on his word. He’s willing to support any dreams she has as long as it aligns with his conditions of staying in Hollyoaks. He cheated on her with her best friend and then has the audacity to ambush with a vow renewal. Yes Yaz has her faults but the way you lot act like Tom is perfect is just not it.

This was long overdue. They were never gonna have longevity or fully work as a couple. They are very different people who want very different lives. Tom likes order and structure and schedules and wants that quiet cosy domestic life with a house and kids and a dog which is a nice life it that floats your boat but it isnt for everyone one. Yas is a career woman who wants adventure. She is passionate and talented and wants to get to a successful place in her life and wants to learn and develop her skills and knowledge and have new fun experiences along the way. Movies and TV romanticise the whole opposites attract thing but the reality it that is never meant to work. A couple should be each others equal in a relationship.Their morals and values and life plans should align. Tom and Yas have different morals and values and life plans. I do blame them marrying so young for this because they were in the innocent hazy bubble of young love when they married. They were naive teenagers who hadn't really fully developed into fill adults yet but now they are full adults with their own fully rounded personalities and opinions and likes and dislikes and wants and needs they broke apart because they are just so different. These two were always doomed to fail. I hope Yas takes that job in Canada and goes and has some amazing adventures out there. She deserves it.
