Here’s an advice to Breathe, think of it as Pau opening her heart remembering those struggle times only people that have been there knows. No explanation or analysis is necessary. Her performance is F-ing incredible. She gets me every time. Pau is the most emotive, empathic singer I've heard in several decades. There is something about her voice and her control of it that conveys the deepest meaning of songs like this, *23, Breathe, Black Holes, Show Me the Light, Narcisista, Revenant, Dust to Dust, The End - Stars Always Seem to Fade,* and parts of other songs like *Apologize, Consume, Disciple,* and *Sharks.* I like Pau's version of *Creep* better than all the rest.

I really like her 'everygirl' haircut and the 'everyone's' piano (The family piano is notoriously always slightly out of tune). It really makes you feel like you're a teen again practicing away at the piano and coming up with something that you just need to express. For all her many talents, Pau's relatability really shines here. She's us, and we're her. Sometimes The Warning shows you the Bard, and sometimes the Ballad. I think Pau got a lot of release out of performing Breathe, at the show. Maybe it's what you need, too. Sure - it gets me every time, but I can't begin to tell you how cathartic it is.

Hell yeah, man!!! That's what music is supposed to do. Pau killed me on this one too, and I'm 63. I did the same thing you did. In fact I did it again watching you lose it. It's awesome ... isn't it. What a good performer can do with a great song. When you do "Breathe", make sure you have subtitles on to translate what Pau says at the beginning. She explains a few things and it is integral to what happens later. What she says puts everything in context.

At their Pepsi Concert concert in Mexico City last October, the sound board was playing a nice playlist for all the fans in the audience before the opening band started playing. Radiohead's original version of Creep came over the PA and a huge portion of the audience stopped their conversations and started singing along. When the song ended, there was a little cheer, then everyone got back to chatting and waiting for the show. It was a lovely little spontaneous moment for a song that clearly now has a connection with The Warning Army thru this version by Pau.

@@JohnnyFoxtrotshow It's a totally different vibe. I am very familiar with this version from Pau, so I chimed in before I started it. and then settled in to enjoy. After seeing how much it means to you, I just want to prepare you. It's Post Modern Jukebox w/Haley Reinhart. They cover things in various old time themes. This is very jazzy, and more like a play on that lounge band that can play an elevator version of an song you can imagine. So, it's not a tear jerker. It's more of a 50's Vegas lounge performance. In the reaction game, this seems to be one of the more popular reactions.

I'm in my 70s I can't really remember but I think it was black holes it really rocked my world first time I heard it and they're on out. But seeing paulina perform the song in front of all those people, And she was sick on top of that It broke me badly, I actually broke down. I really love that little sticker dynamite.
