@Dario Greggio yes but chess is not like other sports, Chess doesn't divide into male and female Chess divides into "worldwide" and "female" If you're a woman, you can play with big guys if you are really good like judit was.

engine says kd6 is best. +3 for white. white's eval does drop significantly though, and kc6 is not much worse.

@agadmator Actually the championship was not valid for FIDE rating due to some recent problems with the licensing of our national federations. Hopefully everything will be fine from now on.

Sometimes I think 2300-2500 chess is more entertaining than Super GM chess. More decisive results, more insane attacks and the defenders aren't quite good enough to deny some crazy tactics

The Philippines doesn't really have that many top level players other than Eugene Torre, Alekhine Nouri, Wesley So (FORMERLY thanks to Prospero Pichay) and Janelle Frayna. In fact even Philippine KZbinrs cover Tata Steel and other world blitz or world rapid over this Janelle Frayna game even though I commented this suggestion there and emailed them. Even Janelle won't cover this after I emailed Janelle lol. I guess too humble and too busy to cover this. But Janelle had talk about that 1 game e had played against Nemo Zhou.

In this video at 05:13 the move white plays as the thumbnail.. black has one more move that is Bb7. Attacking the queen, giving rook the access of defence of 8th raw . I think that is perfectly balanced move by black.. What do you feel?

When you say, "Sorry about that" and reach down, nothing is different in the video or audio. If you're lowering the volume, it wasn't bad to begin with and it's no different than before you adjust it.

In comments: Bb7 loses to Bxb5+, king can't move and you can't throw anything in the way that doesn't get taken by a supporting piece. Nb7 loses the same way. Nd7 is the only move that satisfactorily blocks the checkmate on d8 whilst simultaneously preventing Bxb5 to come with check. Bd7 can defend the d8 square and block the Bxb5+, but it drops the a8 rook to the queen with check.
