Good and enjoyable story. Kachi taught that she knew everything better than anyone else. Because of her disobedience, and disrespect, she eventually paid a great price. She had a strange, masquerade baby, which led to banishment for her little masquerade baby, and herself, to the forest. She had to leave all her loved ones behind, this included her husband, and parents, all because she would not listen. Good job. Greetings from USA.

The baby was chosen to be the next masquelet in the village, so I don't believe anything the high priest says. Some of them always manipulate everything the Gods said, even they can manipulate the tradition, so this girl was very brave. So the gods chose her. The priest and elders don't like her because she is too brave and they didn't want her to corrupt the other people in the village, they want to keep them under control of fear.
