Stella is not the villain in this story. She just did not learn how to express herself. Her Mam was a bad mother to her, she could divorce and seperate ties but to left her kid behind and ignore her for the rest of her live, because she said something when she was 6-8 years is crazy. And he is not better at all, just jump ship after a better oppertunity showed up.

can you blame him? Seven years and that was the first time Stella wore the ring. Love needs to be mutual. Late remorse is worth less than grass.

Are you confused? Although Stella pitied her mother for abandoning her, she later had Johnny, who was like family, to care for her. However, she neglected him, treated him like an object, looked down on him, and even unfairly gave the rewards he deserved to others. When he left, unable to endure it, he was blamed. More importantly, Stella spoke rudely to her mother when she was young and immature. Eventually, Lily left after running out of patience. Over the years, Lily may have seemed heartless, but I don't think she was entirely to blame. Considering what she had to endure, Stella was not at fault when she was young. People's hearts are not machines; they have feelings. Stella was unlucky not to receive love from her family, but when she had a great opportunity to receive love and start a family, she overlooked it and threw it away.

I don't even remember what wrongs I did when I was small----- It might've been small or large---- But I was a mirror of my parents....... Stella acted like that because she was in that type of environment----- Where even her father criticized her own wife.. I can't find any mistakes of her---- The wrongdoers are Stella's father and Lily... One destroyed his own family--- Other remained immature and couldn't try to correct her own daughter when she spoke to her like that... Or---- She could've just divorced Stella's father and take custody of stella..... Anyone would be sad watching their mother take care of another man's child while ignoring you because She couldn't even discipline her own child!!!!

Lol why tf do people believe stella didn't have a life of her own , everything she did she did it herself, no one forced her to. I believe basic human moralities are something that is doesn't needed to be taught😂

Ah yes, I remember in the story, the part about the mom and dad holding a gun to Stella’s head making her choose to give Johnnys award away.

Even if we agree she is the victim as she is a child, but when she is an adult she blew up the relationship with her own hands. If a person is a victim prior then that does not absolve themselves for the subsequent actions. She is responsible for failing her relationship.

Mc is right... It's time to wake up from the Unrealistic Expectations. Their relationship was Unbalanced to begin with. Love require Mutual feeling.

Yeah a lot of examples of crap human behavior here. Bad parents, bad children, selfishness, misguided affection. These people need therapy.

well, stella can say she was just like her father in a sense both looked down on their partners and both regrated doing so
