I'm Jordan's age and I'm getting braces in 5 days.Btw you can have gum but make sure they dont touch the brace and have brands like trident ect.Btw you can drink ice cold water to stop your teeth from hurting for a while Edit:I got them 4 days ago and it doesn't hurt much anymore

Braces hurt really bad depending on how bad your teeth are not straight but you can eat popcorn. after your braces stop hurting for 3 weeks, you can eat gum it has to be sugar free though. But mostly you can eat everything after your braces stop hurting when you get them first put on

Dear Jordan! My name is Olivia i just got my braces on too! For my colors I chose pink I do agree it hurt my teeth too so you not alone! I had to take Tylenol and another pain medicine because my teeth pained me so bad to were I started crying. This is my 5th year with braces plus a retainer. So I'm totally with you on eveything!! With love Olivia Gregory. Btw this was my second round with braces so yes you do have them on for two years.

I have had braces for a while now, and for flossing I use these flossers called “plackers ortho pick” and it’s designed to go threw your wire so you can floss your teeth! And it’s so much easier to use than a regular floss. Hope this helps ❤

Jordyn don't worry you'll get use to it just eat a lot of ice cream and poposicles and you should feel fine! And if it ever get worse you should have wax so use as much of that as you can! And you should start to get better!
