my dad worked in Nuclear all his life. We went to a few Power plants and DOD sites as a kid. Wherever you got may have been secure, but it wasn't anywhere near anything bad if you were there. He is retired now but him telling us how many check points he has to go thru and get finger prints or palm scans to get even to the outer most areas of the actual places tells me you were in a public facing building that was only minimum security at most. Don't get me wrong, the normals likely couldn't get there without approval from higher ups but Security is 24/7/365 at power plants and if you are not specifically authorized to be there, you won't get in, aunt works there or not. My dad's clearance level was high enough that ANY arrest for any thing would have got him fired. Bad credit or financial problems would have also. ( he had full access to the reactor instruments and gauges ) They don't let kids into those areas, ever. I sorta had fun at a few but most of it was a lot of walking and seeing lots of concrete. Not something I was big into myself.
