Its crazy how people who has never set with the scholars know more than the scholars and students of knowledge themselves. Allah refers us to ask the scholars. This brother Hassan Sumali has set with many of are well known scholars for many years, this woman has not set with any of the well known scholars yet she wants to speak about setting or traveling for Knowledge. She wants to speak about Arabic and the differences in the dialects yet it's obvious that she's never master the language nor is she even fluiant. This brother is fluiant in Arabic and has studied the language for many years. We have to understand Allah's names and attributes the way that the Companions understood them, they had more understanding of the relegion and the language then any of us and they took Allah's names and attributes "literal" but at the same time with out liking him to the creation. This is the Creed of Sunni Islam and has dates back to the Sahabah. It's ok if that's not what you believe or have never heard of it, but there are countless resources from articles, books, and videos online if you'd like to research it. One I'd suggest is "A Return to Purity In Creed" by Shaykh Abdullah bin Hamid Ali

I just wanna let y’all know this is spiced up a bit. No one knew she was coming. Hasan never said she was immature nor said anything about her level of education or her mind. They both exchanged dialogue and she couldn’t answer basic questions like what makes a hadith weak because she said a hadith was weak because it’s translated into english. It’s also funny how they say Allah sees but in a different way then we do but yet they won’t apply that same ruling to His Face Hands etc. The men in the store were actually customers who just wanted to witness what was going on because of her reputation. Hasan never yelled at her like she claims. Hasan actually ended the conversation because it was becoming more of an argument going back and forth and nothing actually progressing. She started yelling once she was told to leave and no one wanted to hand her a Qur’an for her to continue her argument and that was only due to the fact that it’s a place of business and the management wanted her to leave. Her refusal to leave a place of business and acting like crazy woman is what escalated things to the point of the video in circulation. The things she was yelling from across the street were the same things she was yelling inside the store. Lastly I want to point out that this video is totally biased and has no middle ground nor anyone representing the other side because the only side that’s being told is hers

The so-called NOI say that God is a body (human being). The so-called Salafis say that God has real-actual eyes, hands, fingers, smiling face, tibia, etc. So they don't say that Allah IS a man--but something LIKE a man. The Sunni Belief is that Allah is clear of all size and dimensionality. Allah is the Creator and does not resemble the creations.

@@malikmuhammad8399 Jihad Muhammad NONE of the Salaf spoke English. So NONE of the Salaf said Allah has a H-A-N-D. This is an innovation. What the Salaf typically did is affirm the Attributes of Allah, such as, `Ayn, Wajh, Yad, etc.--IN THE ARABIC LANGUAGE--understanding that these ARABIC terms have multiple meanings, AND they understood that Allah REALLY does not need or resemble the creations. Hence, Allah isn't some sort of entity occupying space or dwelling in a direction. It is absurd to claim that Allah has a LITERAL H-A-N-D--and then claim that this literal h-a-n-d is not a body part (i.e., organ of grasping). If the person means Allah has a body part, then he has committed tajseem (the belief Allah is a body--this is kufr). If he does not mean Allah has a literal organ of grasping, then he is not taking the literal meaning of "hand." He must mean something else. If he means something else, but does not know the appropriate meaning of Yad (not hand) in reference to Allah, then he should just be silent. If he means for Yad a befitting meaning for Allah (which could not possibly mean the "organ of grasping--because Allah is not some sort of body and does not resemble the creations), then he has (rightfully) made ta'weel.

@@barakahquest5017 this is total misguidance, do you know the difference between speech which is حقيقي and مجاز . you cant just claim anything that suits ur desires to be metaphorical. the origin of speech is literal so if u claim that the names and attributes of allah are metophorical, whats the قرينة. secondly did the prophetصلى الله عليه و سلم and the companions did not say alyad means ability and power, this is the innovations of the ashaairah. وقال تعالى :مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقْتُ بِيَدَيَّ {ص: 75 } وأخبر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أن آدم قال لموسى عليهما الصلاة والسلام : أنت يا موسى اصطفاك الله بكلامه وخط لك التوارة بيده . رواه مسلم والترمذي وأبوداودواللفظ له . you are opposing clear evidences where allah said he has two hands and in this verse allah is highlighting the uniqueness that he created adaam with his own two hands is a honour and a blessing . allah created all creations with his power and ability but what makes adaams creation unique is that allah created him with his own two hands. it would not make sense to say that this means he created adaam with his own two ability or power. and also adaam said to moosa عليهما السلام oh moosa allah has chosen you with his speech and wrote the torah for you with his hand. so will you distort the meaning in this and say allah did not write the torah with his hands and he wrote his power. misguided ashaaree

Nonetheless, I dont agree with several things she's saying, doing and her approach but I'm no one's judge and its just my opinion on the video since it is public. Just for clarification, the sister studied traditional Ashari aqeedah from qualified scholars whos chains of narration (isnad) goes all the way back to the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa salaam. Her teachers amd my teachers are all students of the same Shayukh and thats why i felt comfortable speaking up for her and doing the interview. I hear peoples disagreements with her “approach “ but at the same time the dawah she does and presence she has in the community cant be denied. In this situation despite her yelling and screaming after being kicked out of the masjid, she really didn’t do anything wrong . She was invited there to discuss a topic and once she held her own in the discussion and brought up points that are still irrefutable, she was asked to leave. The video of the argument wasnt even taken or posted by her. The brothers from the masjid that kicked her out did all of that. She just did this interview to tell her side of the story.

Bro at 19:24 yes akhi thats why we read Usool as Sunnah written by Ahmed Ibn Hanbal, one of the four Imaams. You yourselves will not throw away the book Fiqh al-Akbar by Abu Hanifah Nu'aman ibn Thaabit Rahmat Allahi alaih explained by Mulla Ali al-Qari, so why should we throw away Usool as Sunnah or Sharhus Sunnah of Al-Barbahari? Please dont come with subjective arguments because our tradition is just as valid as yours if not more. If anything our contemporary Ulema write commentary on books of Abu Hassan al-Ashari such as the Taliq upon the Aqeedah of Ahl Hadeeth from Maqalaat ul-Islamiyyeen by Sh. Ahmed al-Najmee. We in fact reject people of Ghuloo who went into extremes with the issue of Abul-Hasans Tawbah and return to the way of Ahmed Ibn Hanbal and the four Imams. Likewise the authenticated books of the Salaf we posess all contain manuscripts, the hadeeths are verified for authenticity and just for sake of argument it says in one book a word that could be intrepreted as Tajassum and the editor points out it is an error, defining our aqeedah regarding the sifaat. I think the expression used was he is sitting on the arsh and this is wrong he rose above the arsh in a way that befits his majesty. The reality is unknown. Even Sheikh Rabee al Madkhalee wrote a book refuting a Saudi Arabian researcher for producing books providing credence to the idea of going overboard in these Masaa'il, the person is on the way of those who call our scholars you are whining about as Jahmiyyah. So what one is it. Are we mujassimah or Jahmiyyah are we Khawarij or Murjia.

No need to be confused. Make the Prophet and the Sahaba the measuring stick of any knowledge that comes to you. Ask yourself did any of the companions ask how Allah does such and such. If they didn’t do it we shouldn’t either basically. We accept the knowledge as it came and we don’t ask how. Likewise the people of the Sunnah whose knowledge goes back to the Prophet did not believe Allah was everywhere or in everything. Allah is separate from His creation. She’s actually not wrong. Allah swt says in the Quran Laysa kamithlihi shay Ayah 11 of Suratush-Shura meaning Nothing resembles Allah in any way. Allah, ta^ala, does not resemble any of His creations and to place direction (above, on, etc) is kufr. Allah is the Creator and everything other than Him is the creation including direection. These verses that are referred to which reference directions are interpreted literally instead of figuratively. All of our shayuk with isnad all the way back to the Prophet sallahu alayhi wa salaaam have explained this and continue to do so.

I think the most interesting point for Ahlul Kalaam is this: If your whole argument rest on the ayat "there is nothing like him," and you apply this in all aspects like you claim, what prevents you from going to extremes such as His mere existence. We exist. So does Allah. Would you say that's likening Him to creation? The point is, you can't say that there is only one extreme way to understand something. Alhamdulillah for knowledge. There are verses that are literal and verses that are not. Likewise with hadith. To understand a verse in describing physical "jismiyahh" attibutes in human terms (organs, blood, vein etc) would be kufr no doubt but to say that "yadd" means power, or ability or any other definition without a clear proof would be innovation. In Arabic there is a phrase "من بين ايديهم", this doesn't literally mean between their hands but it means "in front of them." This is well known from Quranic text and Arabic expression. However, there are numerous ayats and hadith referring to the yadd of Allah and its function. All are physical descriptors. How does it function? No one except Allah knows. How it exists? Only Allah knows. So we accept the apparent and deny the likeness.

I was told that certain Arabic word can carry multiple translation in other languages mainly english. The companions of the messenger never explained it with human or created attributes. That’s why Abu Hanifah in fiqh al akbar objected to either “hand” or “face” of God being translated to Persian in some books of aqidah. The sisters belief is the dominant belief among orthodox Sunnis across 1400 years and perfectly in line with the belief taught at all Islamic institutions throughout the Muslim world that have taught hundreds thousands of Muslims this aqidah. Correct belief should be based on what is proven in the Qur’an and Sunnah, as understood by the early generations (salaf) of this ummah, namely the Sahaabah, Taabi‘een and leading scholars. They were unanimously agreed that the divine attributes mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah are to be affirmed without discussing how or likening Him to His creation, and without denying any of His attributes or interpreting them in a way different from the apparent meaning. We do not differentiate between any of the divine attributes, no matter what category they come under. Every divine attribute that is mentioned in a saheeh text must be affirmed.

May Allah forgive her. Keilana and the interviewer needs to read The commentary by Sheikh Muhammad bin Salih Al-Uthaymeen on "Al-'Aqidah Al-Wasitiyyah" by Shaikh Al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah. He explains the attributes of Allah having a hand. And the correct understanding is that Allah has a hand, but His, ta'ala's hand is not like our hand. So if you can see a difference between a cow's hand and a ant's hand, then how much different is Allah's hand. So if there is a difference between the creation's hand, then how much different is Allah's Hand. So negate that Allah has a hand, is to change what Allah says in the Quran. If Allah says HE has a Hand, the Allah has a hand, just know that it is not like the creation's hand. When you start changing Allah's verses into a metaphor like the Christians do the Bible, then you change the meaning without a legal reason. The only way a verse in the Quran is to be considered a metaphor is if Allah subhanna Wa Ta'Ala or His Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wa salaam says it's a metaphor. If not, then we are to take it literally as what it says. Changing the meaning to fit your understanding is not the way of the Companions (the Salaam) who were the best followers, and believers of Muhammad.

Allah is not a physical being. We--and all that you see--are physical beings. Allah ABSOLUTELY does not resemble or need the creations. The subject goes back to First Principles: 1. Allah is One 2. Allah is the Creator. 3. Allah existed before the creations (which includes, light/darkness, time/space, distance/direction). ---->Therefore, Allah is not dependent upon the creations and does not occupy space or dwell in a direction. There are a multitude of Verses and Hadiths that even the (so-called) Salafis don't take literally. They don't claim that Allah is in the throats of people, or that Allah is with us wherever we go, or that Allah is an illumination on the earth, or that Allah comes running toward people or becomes part of the human being's limbs, etc.

As, such, no one can claim how he exists except for with clear texts and if there is nothing to explain these texts from Quran firstly and Sunnah secondly then we stop there. Tafweedh al kaif. To say he doesn't have a physical existence is from kalaam like Fakhuridin Al-Razi, al-Ahazali, al-Ashari and other scholars of theology. They take aql (reason) over naql (texts) which Ibn taymiyaah vehemently opposed. Allah clearlyb describes Himself with physical attributes. How do we take them? Allah knows best. That's where we stop. Anything else is innovation.

I love this achoti for the sake of Allah because she’s a strong sister who stands for truth and she desires for her people to know the truth and not become victims of lies and innovations as we all have since we’ve we come into this world. Allah said in 6:159 do not be a part of sects. Personally I only read and follow what Allah gave His messenger not Hadith that came after. Just think about it. So and so said so and so said that the prophet said this and that. The problem with society today is that man is worshipped more then the Creator who knows all. Just because someone has a man made title he is supposed to be scene as someone who is above his Creator. People have to stop worshiping these men and making flesh their strength for when they do so they put God to the side and forget about Him and that’s a very dangerous game.

Did the Prophet not say I swear Allah nothing is above u or below u! That means Allah exist without a place. Allah said He doesn't resemble His creations in any way whatsoever. The Prophet never taught this and his companions protected the truth. Ibn tamiah and Wahab passed their own judgments and Allah simply lead them away from the truth..
