*Love **dogy.training** Love that guy. His book contains some of the easiest instructions to follow to get the best results. I have two 7 month old schnoodle puppies. They will sit, down, stay, No, leave it. walk on a leash and more. I trained them NOT to crowd the door and dash out. Just follow his methods and use a lot of patience. If you have watched his TV show, you get a really good idea how to do a lot of the stuff in the guide. What you don't see on TV is how much TIME he really spends doing those easy things. All I can say is if you put in the time and patience and hundreds of repeititons, you will enjoy a really well behaved dog.*

Can take a moment to appreciate Daniel. For what appears to be the last week (who knows how long it’s been since editing tends to blend time) - he’s taken care of 10 dogs - his sick partner - held down the home in general with all the chores & cooking - worked on Joey’s material so he wouldn’t lose viewers - I’m sure he helped with all the other social media accounts - plus I’m not sure if he has another job outside the social media accounts, but there’s that too. That’s a TON of stress & work to carry for the ones you love.

Hey Joey--I'm a med student (still a year an a half from being a doc, so take that for what it's worth) but I'd be concerned you had something like Behcet's disease. I don't know what symptoms you've had other than the oral ulcers (which sound like they could be aphthous ulcers, but I'd have to see them) and skin lesions you described, but it seems like you may have had GI issues and/or others. You should look more into it to see if it fits. There's a pretty wide differential for recurrent oral ulcers, but the fact that it's recurring so regularly, sometimes precipitated by stress, makes me think it would be worthwhile to see a rheumatologist. They deal with autoimmune issues (where the immune cells start attacking your own tissue) and could at least run a panel of tests to check or rule things out. The next two docs I would go to if it were me would be a proper dermatologist who could biopsy one of the skin lesions when they're present and someone who deals with immunodeficiency syndromes, either allergy/immunology or immunohematology depending on the departments at your institution, both are great options. I'd definitely make an effort to try to get it sorted out though, because if it is something like Bechet's, or another autoimmune disease, there could be long-term implications for your vision or other organs. Or if it is something else, you don't want it to progress. I have dealt with serious health issues in the past too, so I very much understand how frustrating it is to get the run-around or tell you they can't help you. You have to be your own advocate and tell them that if they can't help you they need to figure out how they will get educated so they can help or direct you to someone else who can. I'd also recommend going to a major academic medical center (i.e. UCLA, USC, Stanford, etc.). Since they do research, they tend to be more aware of rare cases or new medicine. I apologize for the long post, I don't think I have ever commented on a youtube video before, but I really wanted to help out and hope you are able to get the care you need! Let me know if I can help in any other way. Good luck!

Lex R Hi someone with Behçet’s disease here and it was m first instinct when he first started having these “flare ups”. There are differences that I have with mine and only had bad genital lesions once, but it is probably because i got treated right away and have been on immune suppressants since. But even with differences behcets is virtually unknown and I’ve only encountered two doctors who knew what it was. My OBGYN literally had to google my symptoms to diagnose me with behcets!! And even if its not behcets it sounds auto immune related for sure

After reading many of the suggestions in the comments, I thought I'd piggyback on your comment in the hopes that you'd say my suggestion was a definite NO. Last year my brother was 48 and he became sick with hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD). He was shocked since he thought it was only common in children. His daughter was 4 and some children at the daycare center she was attending had become sick. Luckily his daughter never became sick but my brother said it was the most painful experience of his life. When Joey said he had blisters on his hands in addition to his mouth it reminded me of my brother. Since he hasn't mentioned blisters on his feet, I'm hoping he does not have HFMD.

Good call Lex! Yes Joey, please make an appointment with a Gastroenterologist. I was a GI nurse for 11 years and this may be as was suggested, Behcet's or Crohn's Disease. Your Primary should be able to refer you to one. Crohn's is very hard to diagnose so you need a GI doc to make sure you're getting the right testing done. You may have it also in your intestines which could lead to bowel blockages.

#1 Talk to your primary care!!!!!! This is the place to start so you can get referrals to other doctors that can hopefully help, and soyou can have labs done, checking your blood for levels in your body. Doctors can't really do much if they don't have allthe background info fromlabs and previous doctors notes, so thats also very important. When it comes to disorders/illnesses that arent common/recognizable, it will take time to figure out what's going on. My mom delt with diagnosis issues with a skin disorder as well and only really got answers when she was persistent with them. Stay strong!

Joey, have any of these doctors done a full blood panel work-up on you that you have physically seen? My suggestion is to first and foremost get a primary or family practice doctor involved that can facilitate these referrals and write orders for labwork so you can see exactly where all your levels are. I'd ask them to do a comprehensive metabolic panel and CBC with differential to start with. Also, make sure that you get copies of your labwork (If you get it done at certain places like LabCorp, you can sign up to get all lab results released to you through your own online portal.), because we have had my husband’s docs at an ER say everything was fine, and months later when we finally got all his records together, we saw that that was not true at all. Get ALL lab results, records, etc. Worse comes to worse, and they still can’t pinpoint what’s going on, talk to that primary about writing you a referral to Mayo clinic. Please don't let the moments of wellness make you complacent like my man and I did. It's easy to try to ignore it when you start to feel better for a while because life is so busy and who has time to be sick, right? But, I honestly don't know how many years I have left with my husband now because all this wasn’t caught sooner. Seriously, Joey, we had such a similar journey in the beginning with doctors minimizing, ping-ponging us back and forth, not taking his symptoms seriously, and even assuming specific diagnoses based off our supposed lifestyle (When we have been monogamous partners for years. Since before getting married was even a possibility for us.). His life is now seriously on the line because it took years for them to finally diagnose him, and too much organ damage took place in the interim. Please keep searching. You *know* something is wrong. You know your body. I'm praying for you and your sweet family, sis. ♡

Every 4 months? Every 4 months is usually around the times weather transitions to new seasons. Can it be weather or seasons playing a role? For example for me I get migraines when seasons begin to transition. Not just because of the temperatures but also what is in the air, atmospheric pressure, humidity/dry air, etc. i know during your book tour you got the same thing. If you remember the state it was and the climate around that time maybe you can pin point any similarities. I just find it interesting that you started getting sick as LA is beginning to be cooler and also the wind has been very dry. Hope it helps 🙏 maybe theres a trigger for it

It sounds EXACLY like what i have.. it just came one day and since then it keeps coming back every couple of months! The doctors told me it’s an autoimmune problem with the mucous membrane inside the mouth so as soon as there is a strain on your autoimmune cells in that aria they start attacking themselves which somehow creates these blisters inside the mouth/lips/throat and it hurts like a mother f**. They told me that anything can trigger it, stress, catching like a virus or bacteria that your body is trying to fight or just accidentally biting your gum so that your body is giving it’s main effort to heal that... or smt.. I’m Swedish and here it’s called “Afte” I’m really not sure what it’s called in English but this is what I’ve been told. If it’s really bad like it is for me only once a year maybe I can’t eat anything for up to as much as 12 days, as well as being in constant pain and my body being in some kind of war with itself I usually also get a high fever and feel completely exhausted. What the doctor said is try to avoid stress basically and if it gets real bad then I can use some kid of medicin that is local anesthesia in liquid that I had in my mouth and then spit out which made me feel absolutely nothing for a few hours... that’s what I know and from what I’ve been told there is no cure.:( hope it helped good luck!

Omg your story sounds like my 3 year ordeal! I’ve had sores on my chest and head and I went to a primary care doctor who sent me to a rheumatologist who sent me to a dermatologist then primary then back to rheumatologist. The dermatologist said it was Discoid Lupus but the rheumatologist said it wasn’t. Still no clues as to what I have and now I don’t have insurance to keep going to doctors! I feel your frustration! Now the sores are in my scalp and I’m losing hair. Ugh! Good luck! Doctors are idiots and make us broke!

I feel you, I have scalp sores for two years now. I went to dermatologist that told me that's discoid lupus. She printed me a pack it, all about it. I had a blood test for lupus and came back I don't have it. They also did a scalp biopsy and tried to tell me it was pruigio nodularis. I been using creams, all natural shampoo, whole foods diet still keep getting them. I know have apolecia patches and losing lots of hair in spots. I am on my second dermatologist, to get better answer. I recommend looking at Rob Stuart on youtube. He has helped clients overcome skin disorders. As he has four skin disorders and scalp issues He has alot of helpful videos on what foods to avoid, switching to all natural products and more. I hope you get an answer soon and on the road to healing. I am sorry your going through this. Keep being sharing your beautiful light to this world :) Have a great day.

PLEASE LIKE SO ITS OBVIOUS FOR JOEY! I just graduated medical school and I have several ideas what this could be!! Recurrent Candidiasis occurs in several situations. Low immunity due to several factors, medications you might be taking, other medical conditions of different specialties (hematology, infectious disease and endocrinology for example). You need a full CBC (complete blood count), swaps with histology of active lesions and some other paraclinical investigations! Message me if you need more details! Hope you find out what’s going on soon and I’m so sorry medicine has failed you so far. Much love ❤️

Veganism has nothing to do with lack of vitamins. the only vitamin that you could lack of is b12, and that is easily supplemented. and he isn't vegan, he eats meat. but i noticed he follows very stupid health trends, like celery juice and what not. celery on it's own won't do anything.

My prayers for you Joey, my Uncle suffers from something very rare, an "almost " leukemia & it took forever to diagnose. DON'T stop fighting the doctors for not doing every possible test! There are offshoot diseases of leukemia, etc., there are so many possible digestive issues, you could have a strange allergy, or a combo of things could cause reactions? They CAN find out what's making you suffer if they test enough! It's scary, and it's hard to fight insurance companies for authorizations but if you can raise these puppies you have the strength to do it! 🤗🙏🐾💖

I'm a dental hygienist, and strange as it sounds, I actually can recommend you going to a dentist. Dentists specializes in ANYTHING oral. I have had a lot of education about ulcers, diseases and symptoms in and around the mouth, and dentists have even more education than I do. It's obviously hard for me to tell what it is when I haven't seen the problem fully, but a local dentist might be able to help, Joey.

It took me 8 years to find a good team of drs to get me real answers.
