I also have really bad motion sickness and that's where my love for walking began. Unless I really need to be somewhere soon, I always try to walk as much as I can. I remember one day without even realising I had walked over 100,000 steps in one day. Once I was on the bus on the way to school and I felt so bus-sick, that I almost felt like fainting I had to quickly get off and i hadn't even reached my bus stop yet. I felt much better after 1 minute off the bus. I just walked the rest of the way and ended up being late.🤦🏽‍♀️

@@anousheyzaidi5118 I have motion sickness, and autos, buses, city trains and very fast trains are a big nope, airplanes are hard during starting and landing, but most of the regional trains are fine, bikes and scooters are fine (no experience with electrical ones, tho), motorbikes are usually bearable, and boats idk as I never traveled with one, assuming it will be the hardest one to travel with. Everyone is different. Having said that, from what was recapped here looks like most forms of transport would be impossible for the main character.

@@anousheyzaidi5118 That's not true for most people with motion sickness. For example, I have no issues with driving a car or sitting in the front seat but I will get motion sickness from sitting in the back seat. I have no issue swimming in the ocean since that's technically both the ocean moving you PLUS you swimming ie 2 different motions in the oceans. I can also be in a boat no problem as long as the boat is moving itself but as soon as the anchor is thrown to fish then I will get super motion sickness. Growing up in Queens/NYC meant by behind used A LOT of public transport. I have no issue with subway trains, well sometimes I get nauseous if I'm "traveling backwards" meaning the train is traveling west and I'm facing east. But sitting/standing sideways is fine. I cannot read anything in a car and some buses whether it's a book, directions or text messages but I'm completely free from that part of my motion sickness on trains. Oh and I have little to no motion sickness on plans. So yeah motion sickness is different for each individual person. And JUST because it's called MOTION sickness doesn't mean that people prone to it means that ALL motion makes them ill!! Oh and I even get motion sickness on water beds which makes sense BUT I also get motion sickness on beds that are mostly made out of memory foam. That goodness I tried all kinds of beds beforehand because 1. Mattresses are expensive and 2. Memory mattresses are gross cause they feel like you're slowly getting swallowed by oatmeal/grits which also makes me nauseous from the movement of it.
