She has the power of... empathy. It's as fun as it sounds.

It took me a while to edit this video because I wanted to give you a good taste of the story but also, not give everything away. While there are parts of this game that I thought were done really well, like the situation with the flower shop lady or the parallel between Ryan's story - facing his guilt after Gabe's death, and Jed who did the opposite... a majority of the story felt like it was skimmed over/not fleshed out enough. It was frustrating because there was potential around every corner.
When characters were introduced we got some cool insight into who they were and their part in the main story, but then nothing came of it and we never really saw much of them afterwards. Charlotte and Mac are a good example of this. We took away Charlotte's rage which felt like a really big deal for her and for Alex since it was like unlocking a new part of her powers, but then Charlotte becomes an emotionless zombie for the rest of the game and Alex just leaves her be even though she's responsible for that and Charlotte now appears to be suicidal... ok then. lol
Mac is treated like a wet dishrag (a decoy) and then we don't see him until the end when he's seeing Alex off like they're suddenly friends. 1. Alex beats the shit out of Mac. 2. Destroys his relationship 3. Accuses him of murder. But that's ok too I guess, apparently he forgives her for ruining his life in the span of a month.
I don't have anything good to say about Steph other than: it was nice that she apologized for being a bitch. She was a bad choice for a love interest. HAHA
So much of this story and the characters could have been fleshed out more to make it feel complete. In the end, I rate it 4/10 mostly for the beautiful scenery - it has by far the weakest story in the Life Is Strange series' IMO. That said, it got me thinking about alternate ways the story could have panned out, so there's that.
So let me know what you think of this game and if you made up an alternate ending for it.
On a nicer note, I'm now playing A Plague Tale: Requiem on stream and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. That's a story worth watching.
